Ryu Hoshi continued his battle against this new and deadly advesary,Den Maximov,once thought to be a fellow street fighter but instead turned out to be a vicious vampire warlord,dead set on exterminating Ryu and his friends.
 

"Surrender,vampire!"said Ryu. "Or i'll be forced to destroy you instead!"

"NEVER!"said Den in a deep monstrous voice. "A Darkstalker never surrenders to a measly mortal!

In fact,your fellow mortal street fighters have obviously already been----"

Den's sentence was immediately cut short as he suddenly sensed something in the air.

His blood shot eyes went wide as he suddenly came to the realization of something.
 

"No---my fellow vampires---they're---they're all dead."he said.
"Huh...what do you mean---all dead?"said Ryu.

Images of Den's minions flashed through his mind.
Images of they're once invincible bodies,now torn assunder from the efforts of the street fighters.

"No---Tana--Fred--Juno---they've been killed!"said Den.

Ryu couldn't believe his ears as to what he heard.
He knew some of them most of his life and knew that they would never kill anyone in cold blood.

But then he realised that these opponents were not human like them so perhaps it was necessary..at least this time.

"Your friend Ken Masters and his fellow warriors have---destroyed my best vampire warriors!"said Den.

"Well...that's what you and your creatures get for underestimating an opponent...namely us!"said Ryu. "So,if you don't wish to join your fellow bloodsuckers in oblivion--I suggest surrender!"

Den growled fiercly.

Suddenly,both of his blood red eyes shot wide open and a loud scream of rage erupted from his mouth.

"Wha---?"said Ryu in suprise.

The vampire then hunched over and then something began to pierce right out of his back.

Ryu's eyes slowly began to widen in astonishment and suprise as to what the evil creature was doing.

Finally,just when Den's back looked as if it was to burst open,a giant pair of bat wings erupted forth from his back and spread long and wide behind him.

THey were both the color of gunmetal grey and a frightening sight to behold.

Den then got back up again and the rest of his body began to transform along with him.
His skin changed to the same color of the wings and his ears became long and pointy.

His appearance still looked similar from what he was since he was still wearing the tattered remains of his gi costume and his red hair remained intact.

But now,he was more monstrous than he was before,and it seemed that Ryu was in for even more of a fight than before.
"This--is not looking good."he thought.

WHILE BACK ABOARD MORRIGAN'S SHIP...

As a british commando Cammy White had fought many deadly and bizzare opponents,but none quite like this.

She was going up against---a walking ice machine!

The Darkstalker warrior known as Frosticus was known for his sub-zero powers. He has frozen and destroyed many opponents in his lifetime,but never has he actually taken on a mortal before.

But he thinks to be of no consequence,he has heard them to be beings with no powers of any kind.

...but he is about to learn otherwise.

Cammy made the first move as she jumoped into the air,flipped and came hurtling down at the ice creature.

But before she could connect with him,Frosticus aime dhis ice wand and blasted Cammy away with a blast of hard snow.

"UNNGGH!"
Cammy fell to the ground,covered in freezing snow.
"Ugh--talk about the cold shoulder!"she said as she got up and wipe4d the snow off.

"C'mon Cammy!"said Charlie. "I beat that overgrown ball of fur,you can take that ice cube out just the same!"
"Didn't say I couldn't,Lt."said Cammy. "But i'll give it my best!"

"We'll see."said Morrigan.
Frosticus then made his move.

He aimed his ice wand and large blocks of ice began to blast away from it.

"Cor,I shoulda known!"said Cammy.

The commando began to dodge and duck the incoming ice blocks and then dove for the ground at Frosticus's legs.

Once she got close enough,she swung out a sweep kick,knocking the creature to the ground..

But suddenly,as the ice demon fell backwards,he back-flipped as was right back up.
"Nice try,mortal."he said. "But i've fought better than you in my time!"

"We'll see about that,glacier face!"said Cammy.

The brit then did her Spin Drive Smasher,but as she did it,a giant wall of ice collided with her.
"OOOF!"she replied as she fell to the ground.

"Haha!"said Frosticus. "I have more tricks than a magician. You can never hope to defeat me!"

"Wanna bet?"said Cammy.

The Street Fighter ran and at Frosticus again,ready to unleash another attack.

Suddenly,Frosticus fired his ice wand at her again,this time he froze the entire ground.

"Whu--whooah!"replied Cammy as she nearly slipped across the now smooth surface.
"Oh,thinks he can duff the ol'Cam with twice as much ice eh?"she thinks. "I'll show him!"

Frosticus then jumped out in front of where Cammy stood,ready to attack again.
"Prepare to become a human ice box,milady!"he said as he was about to fire again.

"I THINK NOT!"said Cammy.

THe command ran and slide across the ice,just as Frosticus fired away with a barrage of icicles.

Cammy then saw her chance,she slammed both of her feet into the monster's legs,knocking him off balance.
"HEY!"he said.

"NOW--SPIN DRIVE SMASHER!"said Cammy as she unleashed her most powerful attack!

She slammed her Cannon Drill into his chest and then uppercutted him in the chin with a rising boot kick!

"WHAMM!"

The ice warrior fell to the ground,and was (if you pardon the pun of the moment.)out cold.

It was over,Cammy White had won the second and last round.

"ALRIGHT,CAMMY!"said Charlie. "YOU DID IT!"

Cammy stood,,trying to catch her breath.

"Alright ya freak show bastards!"she said. "Charlie an'me fought yer creature feature bouts,now---let us go so we can help our mates!"

"All in good time my dears."said Guinnevere Baine. "First off,we are suprised that you even defeated our two best warriors."

"Now come on ladies!"said Charlie. "We played your little game here. You're either gonna help us take out these bloodsucker nightmares,or you're just in the way!"

"Do not speak to the lady Baine until spoken to,mortal!"said Morrigan.
"Hey,I can speak to whoever the hell I want,bitch!"said Charlie. "We've had enough of your little games here,and we want out--NOW!"

Guineverre sighed and arose from her throne.
"It would appear that you mortals are not gifted in terms of patience."she said as she stood well over six feet tall.
"But if you persist in being a nuisance I may have to---"

"THAT WILL BE QUITE ENOUGH,VAMPIRE HUNTER!"said a voice from nowhere.

"Huh...?"said Charlie. "Who th--?"

"Oh no,it can't be her."said Morrigan annoyed. "Not here,and not now!"

A strange aura of purple and lavendar light began to shine within the room.
When it had stopped,a single individual stood before them.

"I don't believe it,it's her!"said Charlie.

WHILE BACK ON EARTH....

Chun-Li and the others had finally caught up with another in the damaged civic center,all they needed now,was Ryu.

"Man,where could he have gone to?"said Sean.
"I betcha anything he's in combat right now with that leader vampire of theirs named Den!"said Makoto.
"I couldn't agree more."said Ken. "I just hope he fared against him as god as we did."

While back inside the ravaged arena...

Den was hovering over Ryu,and was shooting fireballs from his very mouth.

The World Warrior ran from one part of the room to the other,trying to evade the fiery blasts of hellfire.

He saw a pile of rubble and jumped behind it.
"YOU CAN'T EVADE MY ATTACKS FOR LONG,RYU!"said Den. "BUT PERHAPS A LITTLE CLOSE CONTACT WOULD EVEN THINGS UP!"

Den swooped down and stood in front of the rubble pile Ryu was near.

"If you--INSIST!"said Ryu as he jumped at Den.

Ryu tried the first move as he did a jump kick at the monster.

But just as he collided with the best,his foot bounced off it's chest,sending Ryu to fall backwards and on the ground.

"What th--?"said Ryu as he got back up.

Den snickered.
"Is that truly it this time?"said Den.

Ryu growled and charged at him again.
He then began swinging and flying many punches and kicks at the monster,but each effort he did,Den just blocked or dodged it off.

Ryu then jumped up again and did a spin kick,colliding with him in the head.

"KRAAAKK!"

Ryu landed back down on his feet again.
Den was still standing,but his head was knocked sideways,his neck twisted.

"Wha--?"said Ryu amazed.

Den simply grabbed ahold of the sides of his head,and with one sickening crack--he turned his head back in place.

Ryu gasped in horror to the sheer monstrousness of the creature's power.

"I suppose it's because i'm in the first stage of my full vampire form,"he said. "but after all in the end,you are still just a mortal."

"Never underestimate your opponent,vampire!"said Ryu. "That's the first step to avoid taking the fall!"

"So you say."said Den. "And I admit you have been a great warrior even before all this happened,thanks to me mostyl...but I have more intentional plans to carry on tonight."

Den then aimed one of his hands and a hellfire blast caught Ryu by suprise.

"FWOOSH!"

Ryu got knocked hard by the blast and went flying across the floor,he was definitely unconscious.

Den flew over to Ryu and then grabbed him by the throat,lifting him upward.

"As for you,"he said. "your ki powered blood,and the most powerful of all,will add nicely to my own."

Den then opened his fanged mouth and it then elongated very widely revealling the same set of fangs and mouth that had taken Michael Blaines life before.
 

"SSSSSS!" hissed Den as he was about to sink his fangs into Ryu's neck.

Suddenly,an explosion was heard right behind the vampire lord.

"WHAT?!"said Den in suprise.

Both Ken and Sean stood in the smoking hole they made,their hands shown that they had just done a double Hadouken blast attack!

"I knew that would do the trick,thanks for the training on that one,sensei."said Sean.
"T'weren't nothin'."said Ken. "Look that must be him now!"

"Ughhh--what's he become?"said Makoto.
"Looks like the resemblance to a certain comic book character with those'wings' if you know what I mean."said Sodom.

"Look,he has Ryu."said Li.
"Alright,Maximov!"said Ken. "Either you let Ryu go,or you're gonna end up like blood covered leftovers like your pals earlier!"

"So...you are the ones who really did do away with my brethren?"said Den.
"Yeah,and we're gonna do the same to you,if ya don't let the man go pal!"said Sodom as he brandished his metal sai blade.

"The way I see it,we just got one more dead bloodsucker on our hands!"

"Careful,"said Guy. "this one..feels different from the others we fought."

"RIght you are,successor of the Bushin style."said Den. "I even fought one of your predecessors of the Bushin,I am truly not one of the mere vamps that you vanquished."

"We've faced tougher than the Mad Gears in our lifetime!"said Guy. "Street Fighters,let's take'im down!"

Den dropped Ryu to the floor,reluctantly having to face the rest of his would-be quarry.

Ken jumped at Den,making the first move.

"SHORYU-KEN!"

Ken shouted as he began to thrust his Fiery Dragon Punch at the monster.

But to his amazement,Den simply caught the punch by the wrist.

"WHA--?"said Ken.
"Nice try,"he said. "but i've really no time games right now."

Den threw Ken across the room,causing him to crash into a wall.

"That tears it,fang-face!"said Sean. "You don't kick around my sensei without facing the cannonball kid next!"

"Sean--NO!"said Ryu. "Don't--!"

But it was too late,Den simply flew forward,knocking the young Brazillian down and then went at the rest of the group.

"WHAMM-BAMM-WHAMM!"

The other street fighters fell to the floor like ninepins.

"I have no more time to waste upon you all!"he said.

Suddenly,he laid his eyes on Chun-Li who was just getting back up.

"But..I think that this fair maiden,will do quite nicely for what lies ahead later tonight."he said.

The Vampire lord flew at Chun-Li,ready to lay seige upon her.

"Hey--what?"she said suprised.
"LOOK OUT!"said Makoto.

But before Li could defend herself,Den fired off a blast of energy volts upon her.

"ZZZZT!"
"AAAH!"

The shock absorption was so great,Li fell back to the floor and was complety unconscious.

"Chun-Li!"said Ryu.

Den then scopped up the fallen warrior maiden and then flew towards the skylight.

"GET BACK HERE AND PUT HER DOWN,YOU MISCREANT FROM HELL!"shouted Dudley.

"HAHAHA!"laughed Den. "If you all wish to know where I intend to go with your beloved here....then check the seas!"

The Darkstalker crashed through the skylight and was off into the night.

"Aw man!"said Ken. "He got away!"
"Obvious,but true."said Guy. "And where could he have gone to?"

"Hmmm...check the seas."said Dudley. "As a reader of the complete works of Sherlock Holmes,and a pursuer of riddles,I think I may have caught the drift of where he went."

"Well...then where did you deduce that he went,detective Dudley?"said Sean.

"This is San Fransisco correct?"he said. "And it is also a bay town,and where there are bays and ships..."

"...There's water!"said Ryu. "He must have his hideout aboard a ship somehwere around here."

"That's good to hear."said Ken. "But we forgot something...which boat and what bay dock or wharf is he located?"

"Hmmm...that part I wasn't aware of until now."said Dudley.

"Great!"said Guy. "Now were further apart from ending this nightmare or being freed from this black magic prison!"

Suddenly,the plugged up wall began to crumble and break.

"Uh..maybe you spoke too soon,Guy."said Sodom.

The pile of rubble then broke apart and fell to the floor,revealling the location of one of the parking lots around the building,and the black night sky.

"What could have caused that to happen?"said Makoto.
"Hmmm...since Den himself said earlier that he had woven a dark spell around the building,"said Dudley."I suspect that now he has left the premises,the spell must obviously be over."

"Whew!"said Ken. "About time,I got sick of being cooped up in the center for the arts."

But before anyone else breath a sigh of relief,the same horde of bloodthirsty vamp zombies stuck their heads around the corner and stood once again in all their gore-ridden glory!

"BLOOOOOD!"
They all squealed.

"Aw man,not again!"said Makoto. "I'm too pooped to shove even a stake!"

"Oh,bugger,I guess Den must've let loose part of his spell."said Dudley.

"Yeah,so he could let loose the rest of his playmates on us!"said Ken.

The zombies skulked their way towards their intended prey.

"C'mon gang,"said Ryu. "looks like we're not out of the woods yet!"

"THAT...WON'T BE NECESSARY,RYU HOSHI."

Spoke a loud voice from nowhere.

"Huh...who the...?"said Sean.

Suddenly,from out of nowhere,a massive lightning bolt blast of purple and lavendar energy fired upon the group of zombies,turning them to dust.

"WHOA!"said Sean. "Who did that?"

"I did."said the same voice only in a low normal fashion.

Emerging from the shadows was a tall and beautiful young woman.
She had long purple hair that snaked across her shoulders in an exotic and weird fashion.

She wore a crimson tight dress and matching hosiery and high heels.

Her slender arms were adorned with purple amtching arm gloves and a long yellow silken scarf was wrapped around her figure.

She looked like a strange gypsy to some but to Ryu,Ken and even Guy she was a very familiar figure.

"ROSE!"said Ryu,Ken,and Guy in unison.

"You...you guys know this chick?"said Makoto.

"I Have come at not a moment too soon."said Rose.
