“Eeeewww---gross!”cried Makoto. “His head even got stuffed in the toilet!”
Guy examined the dead boxer’s broken wrists.

“Hmmmmm…looks like a pair of hands broke his wrists before he was killed.”he said. “The killer was obviously super-strong as well to break Bob’s wrists like they were styrofoam.”

“That’s definitely—unwarming news.”said Li. “But…at least we now know that the killer’s here in this stadium center with us. And we’re not gonna rest unitl we’ve caught him—dead or alive!”

“I—I just hope he doesn’t find us.”saind Makoto. “But---I’m ready for anything!”
“Never lose hope or courage,Makoto.”said Ryu. “We’ll get to the bottom of this yet.”

Ryu and the others returned to the meeting room and had found that the Heavy Hitters group had just awakened from their ‘meditation’state.

“Nice to see you’re all back among the living.”said Li. “We just found another dead body—vampire ridden style.”

“Oh uh---my apologies to you all miss Xiang.”said Den Matrimon. “I know it’s hard for you and your friends understand,but my associates and I rely on doing deep meditation to cope with sitautions like these.”

“Well,starting as of right now,meditation and slack class is over,Den.”said Ken. “It’s high time we seek out and find this killer—before he sets his sights on his next victim!”

“Too right Ken.”said Dudley. “I propose we split into three groups.”
“Agreed.”said Ryu. “That way we can cover a lot more territory in case we find something suspicious.”
Ryu,Chun-Li and Ken then stood in the middle of the room and began to ask who would accompany them.

After a short discussion,it was then decided who would be with who.

Sean,Sodom,Rango,Hiryu,Lei, and Fred would go with Ken.
Dudley,Makoto,Tana,Ted,Mika,and Diana would be with Chun-Li.
And Den,Guy,Chen.Ugyo and Juno would go with Ryu .

“If any of us get seperated,try to head back here to the meeting room and hide.”said Ryu. “Now—let’s get started!”

The three groups then took off in separate directions of the civic center.

Chun-Li’s group found their way towards the directions of the locker rooms and a couple of nearby office rooms.

“The killer might’ve tried to hide in one of those rooms.”whispered Li. “Stay close and be prepared for anything.”

The group then carefully sneaked their way towards the locker rooms.

Li then gestured for the others to stay hidden and then she herself cept towards the locker room.
She then peered her head inside the room and took a sniff for anything unusual.

Li then picked up a trash can and hurled into the direction of the showers,hoping for a reaction.
“SLAMM!”went the can as it bounced on the floor.
But to her avail,nothing.

She then inwardly sighed with relief,but was not satisfied at all.
Li then turned back to the others outside.

“Anything?”said Makoto.
“Nada.”said Li. “He probably isn’t in the other locker rooms either. So..we’d best try to check elsewhere.”

But as Li and the others ventured deeper into the darkness,Diana stood by the locker rooms and thought about the ridden soiled in clothing she was wearing.

“Phooey!”she thought. “Let’em go vampire hunting and play Scooby-Doo! I got more important matters to deal with—namely my skin! It’s drenched with sweat and filth.”

Diana then entered the women’s locker room in hopes of finding a proper shower to cleanse herself off with.

Chun-Li and the others then ventured through the lower depths of the corridors past the nearby gym,allowing her to switch her flashlight back on.

Makoto was getting nervous from the spooky surroundings they were in,there should’ve been lights on in this area.
Li then shown her light around the corridor and found that it led to a dead end and a single door that stood before them.

It said JANITOR’S CLOSET across it.
Suddenly,they heard a rustle and clatter in it.

“Hey,there’s something in that closet!”said Ted. “Just like they were was when we found Diana and the others in that other closet.”

“You don’t think there could be another group of fighters trapped down here with the rest of us do ya?”said Makoto.
“I would hardly think so.”said Dudley. “Nearly everyone evacuated rom this place earlier through the front doors after what happened.”

“Maybe,”said Li. “But…just to be sure…”
Li handed her torch to Makoto. “Keep it shining on that door,Makoto.”she said. “And whatever you do,don’t take the light off it.”

“Right!”said Makoto. “You can count on me!”
Li carefully crept towards the door and then placed her left hand on the handle.
She then took a deep breath—and pulled the door open!

Revealling…nothing at first.
But just as Li took a closer look,a single rat jumped out of the dark and scurried away into the rest of the blackness.
“EEK!”said Makoto. “A furry rodent!”

“Not---exactly what I had in mind.”said Li. “At least that covers this part of the center.”
“Hey!”said Dudley. “Where did Diana go to?”

“I didn’t notice that until now.”said Ted. “Maybe she turned tail and ran back to the meeting room?”
“Most likely knowing her kind.”said Tana. “All built up top and no guts whatsover.”
“I agree.”said Chun-Li. “A true warrior woman builds her strength on courage,not flashy looks and spandex.”

“Hmm…she is definitely one to talk about that.”thought Dudley.
“Well,I don’t think we need her on this anyways.”said Li. “C’mon,let’s take a look inside the office rooms here.”
 

WHILE BACK IN THE WOMAN’S LOCKER ROOM…

Diana stripped her fighting togs of green and black off,got into the shower and soaked her curvacious body with water and soap that was available in the showers.

After rinsing off,she then found a couple of towels and wrapped one around her torse and waist and one around her head,stuffing it all up in a turban like shape.

She then found a nearby sofa couch and lied down on it.
She sighed and thought. “Oh,whatta washout. I tried to attend this tournament so I could show the Miss Universe Federation that I have what it takes to be a particapant in brawn as well as beauty. And look what happens—I get beat in the first round. A crazy terrorist attack—yadda-yadda! Oohh…when this is all over with I am definitely getting in touch with my agent on this!”

Diana then found a stocked cooler containing cans of diet Sprite and a small but adaquete tv set with Dvd atop it.
“Well,at leat I can rest for a bit before I find a way outta here.”she thought as she found the remote,flipped it on and tried to find something suitable to watch.

She found a re-run showing of The View and decided to watch it.
Suddenly,the lights in the locker room went out.

“Hey—what—who’s out there?”she said.
Silence was all that she heard.

Diana nervously got up and looked around for something to use in case an attacker came along.
She saw a large metal bat leaning up against the tv and then picked up.

“I-I’m warning ya—I’m armed and dangerous!”she said.
She then heard a deep cackling laugh.
“Who—WHO’S THERE?”she said.

Diana then cautiously walked towards the door to see if someone was there.
But,as she got there,she found that no one was out there.

She then sighed…and that’s when something nasty happened.

A hand rechaed ouyt behind her and grabbed the towel she was wearing,pulling it right off her body.

“EEEEEEEK!”she screamed and began swinging the bat around as if someone was there.

“YOU DAMN PERVERT!”she cried. “WHO’S THERE? GIMME BACK MY TOWEL!”

Suddenly,as she swung the bat out again,an unseen force came out and broke the top of the bat in two!
Diana dropped the bat and screamed again in terror.

She then began to run back up the corridor that she and the others went back up.

“HELP MEEE!”she cried. “SOMEONE HELP ME! TH—THE KILLER’S HERE! HE’S AFTER ME!”

Suddenly,she felt something scratch her across her firm bare tummy.

Diana screamed in pain and terror as she fell to the floor.
She then rubbed her hand across the scar and found blood on her hand.

“Whaa---what’s happening?”she said.
Suddenly,a pair of hands came across her,one covering her waist,the other covering her mouth as she was pulled up against the body of someone draped in shadows.

“Oh,you are such a deletable dish,aren’t you?”said a voice. “I shall indeed feast upin your body and soul tonight!”

A pair of fangs then bit into the soft flesh of her neck.
Diana tried to scream,but her attacker’s hand muffled it out.
She then began to feel light headed as she tehn passed out—into total and permanent oblivion.

Li and the others began running back up the corridors,following Makoto.
“I swear I heard someone screaming—I swear I did!”she said.

The group of fighters ran up the steps that led to the two locker rooms,but when they got there,they found blood stains on the floor and a certain mutilated carcass with them.

Makoto screamed as she saw who it was.
It was Diana.

Her naked body laid upon the floor,her long blonde hair tangled about her head,deep bite marks that were all over her body and her skin which was once a golden tan was now a dead white.

Chun-Li placed a hand over her mouth,to try and keep from gagging as well as vommiting from the ghastly sight.

“Man,whatever it was,it got her.”said Ted.
“Poor thing.”said Tana. “She probably never stood a chance.”

Dudley sighed.
“We now know that this thing was indeed down here with us.”he said. “The question where will it pop up next…and which one us will it try to devour..next?”

The fighters all looked at one another.
“I ain’t going down without a fight I tell ya that much!”said Makoto.

“Attagirl!”said Ted. “Never let’em see ya scared.”

“I think we should head back upstairs elsewhere for where the killer may be.”said Li. “And this time—we stay together no matter what!”

“Uh..but what about the misses here?”said Dudley pointing to the still dead body on the floor.
Li sighed wearily,went to the locker room and spread a large white towel over it.
“We leave it there for the time being.”she said. “Give her and Bob a proper burial when this is over with. Now,let’s go!”

The group then headed back upstairs to continue the investigation.

WHILE IN THE BOILER ROOM….

Ken and his group had entered a dimly lit and dusty room with heat generators and a large jug shaped boiler heater in the center.

Sean wiped his brow from the heat.
“Man,we shouldn’t be down here.”he said. “No killer in his or her right mind would stay down here.”
“Old saying in the army boy.”said Fred. “Ya can’t take the heat,get outta the kitchen.”
“Easy for you to say, mr.shirt-less.”said Sean.

“It may be hot and humid down here,Sean.”said Ken. “But my guess would be that a killer would hide in any place that their victims would never even think of searching.”

Sodom took a gander around the boiler controls for anything,and then found something—red blood marks across the wall next to it.
“Hey—I found something!”he said.

The other warriors huddled to where Sodom was and took a look down beside the controls.

There,upon the floor lay yet another dead body crumpled against the wall.
It was an old man wearing a grey set of coveralls with deep blood stains all over it.

Ken looked down at the man’s neck,it had puncture wounds as well.

“Oh boy…”said Ken. “…the killer was here as well.”
“That’s…not good.”said Dudley. “Poor fellow though,innocent victims always ending up in the crossfire.”

“Well,even if he was here,he can’t be here any longer.”said Ken. “We’d best place this body outisde and search elsewhere.”

The fighters wrapped the dead janitor up in a dusty old sheet,placed it out in the hall and continue their search elsewhere.

WHILE IN THE GYM SECTION OF THE CENTER BUILDING….
 

Ryu,Den and the rest of the teams found themselves in the gym room.

Ryu switched on a light and found various excersise equipment,a couple of doors to a suana and a sports drink vending machine.

Den turned to Chen and Ugyo.
“The both of you,check those restrooms and that suana.”he said.
“Sure thing chairman.”said Chen.

While the Aikido and Sumo checked the rooms,Ryu went over to the nearest window and looked out it.
Den looked through it as well,and saw Ryu’s expression. It was dead serious,but he could see a sort of dismay and frustration in his eyes.

“Something troubles you,Mr.Hoshi?”he said.
“What…oh it’s nothing really.”said Ryu. “I just can’t believe how all this managed to fall apart on us so quickly. I’m….also not really used to heading up team situations like these. I mean,Chun-Li is an Interpol officer and we don’t have our military allies Charlie,Cammy or even Guile on this one.”

“Don’t get discouraged,Ryu.”said Den. “We’ll find a way out of this…one way or the other. And when we do..rest assured,we will continue our match at the next tournament.”

Chen and Ugyo came out of the suana and restrooms.
“Nothing there chief.”said Ugyo.
“Well then,”said Den. “I think we’d best be moving on.”

The group of men then began to exit from the room,except for the warrior monk Lei Low.
He looked back at the men’s room and had an urge to relieve himself after the two bottles of coco-cola he downed before the matches began earlier today.

He knew it was against the religion of monks he was raised in to expose himself to their unrealistic thirst quenchers and other sins of the world..but he just couldn’t resist the taste once he got into it.

The monk simply shrugged and entered the men’s room.

After a whole minute,he was finished and then exited from the toilet to re-join the others.

Suddenly,just as he was about to make it to the door that led out into the hallway,it suddenly slammed shut!

“Wha…?”said Lei puzzled.

He then ran up to the door,and pulled the handle.
But to his avail,it wouldn’t budge.
He then began to pull it harder and harder,but it wouldn’t give.

Suddenly,the lights in the room gave out and he was in partial darkness.

“Wh-what’s happening?”he said aloud.
He then heard a low laugh behind him.

Turning around,he saw a lone figure standing before him in the shadows.
“Who-who are you…?”said Lei.
“No one you care to know.”said the figure in a low monstrous voice. “But to me you’re---LUNCH!”

Lei inched back up against the wall in terror,but suddenly remembered that he is a Shaolin monk trained in the ways of ancient kung-fu by the great masters of China and Korea,he would not stand down.

Lei jumped forward to face his dark and towering nemesis,and got into a fight stance.
His left hand rested to the side of his face and his right fist was at his waist,a typical but ready fight pose.

“Well…is that it?”said the stranger.
“You sir---“spoke Lei in a sudden dramatic tone. “—have made a grave error in threatening the life of a warrior monk! You shall indeed rue the day you did so!”

“Just shut up and show me what ya got!”said the figure. “Before I get too bored to kill you.”
Lei bounced on the back of his feet and then struck forward with a lunge punch.

The stranger caught it,pulled Lei forward and chopped him in the back of his neck with his hand.
Lei howled in pain and fell to the floor on his stomach.

The monk then rolled across the floor and jumped back to his feet.
“You were fast there,”he said. “but I’ll show you what a real monk can do!”

Lei ran at the stranger and did a flying jump kick at him.

But as soon as he made contact,the stranger caught him by the foot and hurled him into another wall across the room.

“WHAAM!”
The monk fell to the floor,and nearly lost consciousness.
“You my friend….are so pitiful.”said the stranger. “And now—you’re dead meat—literally!”

The monk awoke to find the dark stranger menacingly creep towards him.
“N-no….STAY BACK!”he said.

Lei then remembered the holy beads and paper talisman he remembered to bring with him in case of anything.

He took them both out,got on his knees and began to chant and pray to the diety his fellow monks worshipped back at the temple.

“Anicent gods..save me—save me---!”he cried.

The creature heard enough and then grabbed the monk by the hand which held the religious trinkets.
“You should’ve enrolled with a better god pal.”he said. “It has to do with a cross.”

The figure then applied a little pressure to Lei’s fingers---and snapped them like twigs!

Lei screamed in excrutiating pain and fell on his side as he grabbed his broken fingers.
The figure then reached down and grabbed Lei by the throat,lifting him upward.

“NO—NOOO—AAAAHH!”were the last words the monk screamed before the monster sank it’s fangs into Lei Low’s neck.

Ryu and the others heard the screaming and ran back to where the gym room was.
“Lei’s in there—I heard him!”said Ryu.
Guy grabbed the door handle and pulled on it.
“No good,”he said. “it’s locked somehow!”

“Stand back!”said Ugyo. “I’ll break it down!”
“Lei hang on,we’re coming!”said Ryu.

The sumo stood back some distance from the door,took a run and smashed through the door!

“LEI!”said Ryu as he ran inside. “We’re here!”
But as they came in,they discovered the fallen,broken and blood drained body of the fighter they knew for only a short time.

“Aw man..”said Juno. “It got him.”
“Afraid so,”said Den.
“Well,that does it.”said Ryu. “If we keep going like this,he’s gonna pick off the rest of us one by one. I’m afraid..we’re gonna have to head back with the others and re-adjust our strategy.”

“Agreed.”said Den. “This..killer must obviously be more skilled and powerful then the lot of us combined to hide and strike when least expected.”

WHILE BACK IN THE OTHER REALM...

Charlie and Cammy followed Morrigan down a strange and dark jade colored hallway that led to another set of doors.

Once they got there,she turned back to the pair.
“Now,my partner here is…more powerful than I am.”she said. “So…let this be known this very moment—behave yourselves—it may be vital to your lives.”

Cammy and Charlie looked at each other as Morrigan then unlocked the door and opened it.

What was revealled was another astounding sight…
Standing before them was a large and sprawling throne room adorned with decorations from medieval times from Ireland,Romania and even Spain.

There was bright torces that hung upon the four corners,stain glass and transparant windows.
Suits of armor that stood upon each side of the room,armed with a large bladed weapon,and a large white fur rug of what appeared to be a long dead animal lay upon the floor.

At the center of the room was also a solid gold and ruby encrusted throne and some dark stranger in a hooded robe sat in it as well.

“We have my arrived my lady.”said Morrigan.
The stranger lifted his head and beckoned them to come.
Charlie saw that the stranger was wearing the same hooded robe that Morrigan was wearing when she abducted Cammy and himself.

“This way if you please.”said Morrigan.
The trio strode towards the stranger on the throne and stood before her.

“These…are hopefully the answer we seek against our foe’s minions.”said Morrigan.
“Hopefully..?”thought Cammy.

“Good.”said the stranger as he arose,the voice appeared to sound feminine as well.
“Allow me to introduce myself.”

The stranger lifted the hood and removed her robe to reveall not only a woman,but a very strange one at that.

She was female like Morrigan and both tall and very shapely like her.
The woman in question had long reddish brown hair that was tied back into a single pigtail that went down to her back.

She wore a strange and bizzare costume that consisted of red and yellow colors,a long loin cloth was tied around her waist with a blue belt,a large beaded necklace was wrapped around her shoulder,she wore large bracelets around her wrists and brown leather sandals on her feet.

Her eyes were both a different color each,one was jade green and the other a fiery orange. A small white pearl dot was attached to her forehead and a single white mark was painted downward on her nose as well as a pair of matching earrings.

And lastly,a large curved metal sword of some sort was strapped to her back.
Cammy raised an eyewbrow,not knowing what to make of their so-called hostess.
Charlie couldn’t help but notice the woman’s buxom and flattering appearance,but managed to keep a clear head as to what was going to happen next.

“This..”began Morrigan. “..is my partner—Guenevere Donovan,vampire hunter.”
“V-vampire hunter..?”said Charlie.
“Yes,”said Guinevere.”you know…like Blade,Castlevania,Vampire Hunter D..those artisitc and ridiculous fictions your mortal kind creates?

Oh,they will never know the true intense horror of what and my illustrious ancestor have gone through to cease their comings,as well as the other Darkstalkers that came along with them.”

“Darkstalkers..?”said Cammy. “Wait a minute,I think I heard strories about those once when I first enrolled in M-16 and became a member of Delta Red.”

“What are..these Darkstalkers,Cammy?”said Charlie.
“They were…a breed of night creatures that came from different parts of the globe…and they battled it out with each other for different reasons. But—I always thought it was just a fable—a fairy tale of sorts.”

“Oh..we ahave always been and will always be---very real my dear Cammy White.”said Morrigan. “Even after a thousand years—we have existed. Before the rest of your fellow Street Fighters and their World Warriors tournaments,before the heroes and villians of Justice High School,and even before the warriors of Metro City—we have existed and fought each other in the names of good and or evil.”

“So..would you mind telling us what exactly you want with us?”said Charlie. “And what is going on around here?”
“Most certainly,Mr.Nash.”said Guenevere. “In a nut shell,your friends back on earth—are in very grave danger.”

“Danger..?”said Cammy. “What do you mean?”
“The descedant of an old enemy of both Morrigan and my ancestor has been busy at work undermining the martial arts society and fighter’s circuits.”said Guinevere. “And we may need the help of you—street fighters in doing away with him.”

“But…before we do,”said Morrigan. “we need to place the both of you—in a serious test.”
“What kind of test?”said Charlie.
“You’ll see,soon enough.”said Guinevere. “Won’t we Morrigan?”

The Succubus chuckled wickedly.
“Yes,we most certainly will.”she said.

WHILE BACK ON EARTH….

Ryu and the others than headed back downstairs and ran into Chun-Li and the others.
“We—we heard screams,what happened?”she said.’
“That monk we found named Lei?”said Ryu. “He’s dead.”
“Omigosh…”said Makoto. “That’s terrible,cause we just found that Diana chick dead as well.”

“Then…there must be more than one killer here if that was to happen.”said Guy.
“Where’s Ken and the rest?”said Ryu.
“They decided to head back to the meeting room.”said Li. “We decided to try and look for another part of the building but…”

“I’m afraid we’re going to have to try a different aproach Chun-Li.”said Ryu. “If we keep this up…these killers will take us all out one at a time.”

“However…”said Den. “…I’m afraid if you and the others even try to stay in one place together…this killer might still find a way to take you out.”

“Uh…what do you mean by that,Den?”said Ryu raising na eyebrow. “You know something?”
Den chuckled slowly. “Do I…know something? Yes…maybe you could say that.”

WHILE BACK IN THE MEETING ROOM…

Ken found a portable Mr.Coffee and made some instant java for the night shift they were going through.
“Ah yes…”said Dudley. “…just the thing to help through the night. Even though I could use a spot of tea myself.”

“Sorry Dudley.”said Ken. “This place has either got coffee or locked up vending machines. We gotta use what we got.”
“I admit I am pretty hungry.”said Sean. “I was hoping if we’d win we could’ve gone to Applebee’s or the Olive Garden. Otherwise we might just have to break open one of those machines just for sustanance.”

Ken sighed.
“Now that you mention it,I’m pretty famished after all that pointless searching and exhaustion.”
Ken then turned to Fred,Ted and Rango.
“Hey,you guys hungry or thirsty right now?”he said.

The trio of fighters stood in the shadows and said nothing at first.
“Uh guys…?”said Sean. “he asked if any of you want anything?”

Fred spoke.
“Yeah,now that you mention it…we are pretty..thirsty for—something!”
Ted and Rango chuckled an evil laugh,and their eyes all suddenly glowed red.

Kens eyes went wide and the packet of instant coffee fell to the carpet floor.

While back out in the open lobby hall of the center.
Den stood before Ryu and the others.

“I’m…afraid that this little…charade must now come to an end Mr.Hoshi.”he said.
Tana,Chen,Juno,Hiryu and Ugyo all then stood beside him as a strange and terrible metamorphosis began to occur right before the Street Fighter’s very eyes!

The eyes of the Heavy Hitters suddenly glowed a bright red and they also began to slowly levitate from the floor as if invisible wires were lifting them.

“Wha---what….?”said Mika.
Guy’s jaw dropped wide open and Sodom dropped his sai weapons to the floor.

“Den..?”said Ryu. “What—are you all doing?”
“What we probably should’ve done when this whole scenario began.”said Den. “Treat our sustanance—TO SOME FRESH KI POWERED BLOOD!”

Den opened his mouth,revealling a fearsome set of fangs that were both a foot long.
The otrher fighters beside him did the same,revealling their true form.

They were indeed….VAMPIRES!

Suddenly,Ken and the others burst through the door to the meeting room and ran towards Ryu and the others.

“RYU!”said Ken. “YOU WON’T BELIEVE THIS!”
But when the trio stopped to see Den and the others hovering before them.
“What the bloody hell?”said Dudley.’
“Aw @#%$ man!”said Sean. “Not them too!”

“Yes,young Sean.”said Tana. “I’m afraid it’s us too.”

The other Hitters emerged from the meeting room,floating across the floor like human hovercrafts and then floated upwards to join with the rest of the gang.

Den then spoke in a demonic voice.

“RYU HOSHI! YOU AND YOUR PITIFUL BAND OF STREET FIGHTERS ARE ORDERED TO SURRENDER YOURSELVES TO US—OR THERE WILL BE INDEED SOME VERY BRUTAL BLOODSHED!”

“Then you must be the one who…”said Ryu.

“Yes!”said Den. “We are the ones who have been killing other fighters these past months. And you will be the next to fall…just as I did away with Michael Blaines..if you resist us! The choice---is yours!”
