Ryu,Chun-Li and Guy stood face to face with a most horrifying ordeal…a horde of bloodthirsty zombies stood at the front door.
They were a group of seven deformed humans…and two dogs that looked like something straight out of a petshop from hell!
The trio of heroes stood firm, but their eyes gave away their feeling of terror and fear,as well as a few drops of sweat mingled down their foreheads.
“Ryu….?”said Chun-Li. “Would you mind shutting
the door?”
Ryu nodded and began to shut the door
in front of the group of monsters.
But before he could, the creatures then
shoved their hands upon the door, keeping Ryu from shutting it all the way.
“HRRRGHH!”replied Ryu as he strained to push the door back all the way,but the strength of the zombies was too much for even him.
“Quick—give’em a hand!”said Li as she and the Bushin placed their hands up to the door.
Even the full strengtrh of the trio wasn’t
enough to shove the door shut.
“I have an idea!”said Li. “Quick—get away
from the door!”
Both Ryu and Guy jumped off the door and
Chun-Li stood firmly in front of the the rampaging creatures.
“Li—what are you doing?”said Guy. “Taking
one for the team?”
“Nothing of the sort!”said Li. “Just watch!”
The first few zombies were now inside just inches from sinking their fangs into some soft human flesh and blood.
Chun-Li then began gathering up her potent
ki energy into a pair of fiery blue orbs and then---
“KIKO-KEN!”
She shouted and unleashed an intense blue beam of energy upon the group of zombies, knocking them all backward and back into the parking lot.
Li then walked outside to see if they were
done for.
The entire squad of monsters lay upon
the ground,burnt to a crisp.
Li then dusted her hands off.
“I guess that takes care of that.”she
said.
Suddenly, one of the zombies sprang it’s
head back up,eyes wide open.
“BLOOOD!”it screeched.
Li screamed and jumped back.
“Yeah? Think again!”said Guy.
Li then ran back inside as fast as she
could, and the two heroes shut the door and locked it.
“Whew—it’s good fortune these are the tpye
of hydraulic doors that only open from the inside.”said Ryu.
“You got that right,”said Guy. “or we’d
really be up to our necks in those—things.”
“It—it doesn’t make any sense.”said Li.
“Since when did Bison re-animate---dead bodies? His Shadowloo science division
isn’t equipped for that and even he doesn’t possess powers like that.”
“Hmmm…maybe he stole some equipment from Gill’s Utopia or some other terrorist organization.”said Guy. “Or he could be onto something new.”
“Yes,even one such as Bison has gone beyond the limits of evil before.”said Ryu. “He’s probably unleashed a back-up plan to capture us all.”
“Well, whatever it is he won’t succeed!”said Li. “But I’m afraid that’s another hope of getting out of here that’s been washed down the drain—c’mon.”
The three walked back to the others.
“What was all that down there?”said Makoto.
“I—I heard screaming and moaning.”
“I’m afraid the encounter our friends
here had is correct.”said Ryu. “There are---some sort of zombie monsters
outside.”
“There ya see?”said Bob. “I told ya what
we found!”
“Zombies…?”said Dudley. “Why that’s preposterous!
There’s no such thing in real life!”
“Yeah I’m with the limey here.”said Sodom.
“You’ve gotta be kidding here if there’s some nightstalkers from hell out
there!”
“Well my dear samurai,”said Guy. “why not
tell that---to those things at the front entrance?”
“Huh…?”said Sodom as he turned to the
doors.
Sure enough, there was another group of
hideous zombie creatures standing at the front doors.
“Blood! Must have blood!”several of them
said through the glass.
“YAAAAH!”replied Sodom as he fell backwards.
Diana and Mika both screamed.
“OMIGOSH—REAL ZOMBIES!”said Makoto. “Straight
outta those western horror movies!”
The monk Lei low stood down on his knees, took
out his ceremonial beads and began chanting and praying in his own tongue
to try and make the evil disappear.
But to his avail---it wasn’t working.
“If I was you good sir,I’d change religions.”said
Dudley. “That one isn’t worth the beads and trinkets you’re using.”
“You don’t think they could get in here
could they?”said Sean.
“Not with that cooky spell on there they
can’t.”said Ken. “But—just to be sure,I think we’d better make haste elsewhere
and think up a plan.”
“Right—c’mon let’s go!”said Ryu and the entire group of warriors evacuated the area and headed down to one of the other halls and corridors that led to the other rooms and halls of the building.
MEANWHILE…IN ANOTHER REALM UNKNOWN….
Charlie Nash awoke to find himself in total blackness,he couldn’t even see his own hand in front of his own face.
“Uuhhh---where am I?”he said aloud. “Cammy?”
“Unnhh---yeah I’m here Lt.”she said. “Where
are you,I can’t see.”
“Neither can I.”said Charlie. “It’s total
darkness in here.”
“You said it.”said Cammy. “I couldn’t
find my own bum with me hands here.”
As Charlie slowly got to his feet, his hands
felt a hard substance on the floor.
“Hmm..feels like stone.”he thought.
“Wait,I think I have a flashlight for
just an emergency.”he said as he felt around for the pockets in his orange
vest jacket.
He then found it and then switched it on,then
shone it over the area they were in.
He found black solid square stone as he
shone the light across it.
“Hmmm…we appear to be in—some kind of dungeon?”he
said.
“I—I don’t think I like the looks of this.”said
Cammy. “It’s giving me the creeps.”
“Stay with me Cammy,it’ll be all right—I
hope.”said Charlie.
Charlie then shined the light downward
and found a tunnel.
“Just a hunch,but---I think we should
go this way.”he said.
“You sure about that?”said Cammy.
“You got any better ideas?”said Charlie.
Cammy shrugged. “I guess not.”
“So we go then.”said Charlie.
The two soliders then began walking down
the tunnel, unsure of what lied ahead.
Little did they know, that above them atop
a stone pillar,a strange winged creature was watching them both very intently.
“Hee-hee---it worked I managed to bring
them here.”the creature thought. “Just wait till my partner sees what I
brought her. Now—let’s see how good these two—street fighters handle themselves
in my world.”
WHILE BACK AT THE CIVIC CENTER FOR THE ARTS…
The fighters managed to find their way to the center meeting room, there was a long rectangle wooden table with leather seats on both sides and a couple of receptionist offices with phones and computers in them.
When they arrived, they found a long clear through window that gave off a view of the fence and gates across from them.
Ryu went up and looked through the window.
There,he saw that the front gates were
covered by a strange wall of flame.
“I don’t believe this!”said Ryu. “Look
at that!”
Ken and a few of the others went up to
look as well.
“A wall of—flame is on front of the gate
entrance?”said Ken.
“That’s sure is mighty strange to put
that there.”said Fred. “Ya think that---Bicep guy did that?”
“It’s Bison and if it wasn’t him---who
else could have placed something like that there just to further keep us
in?”
“Who indeed?”said Ryu. “Well…I’m still not gonna give up. If there’s another way out of here,we’ll hopefully find it!”
“I agree,we musn’t give up hope!”said Dudley.
“Easy for you to say mr.big-shot”said
Bob. “Some of us were useless in the tournament, and we didn’t put up much
of a fight against those…things. What good are we?”
Dudley placed a gloved hand on Bob’s shoulder.
“You mustn’t give up,Bob.”he said. “That’s
what keeps a fighter’s spirits up at all times. Never—ever—give up.”
“I think I might know another way we could get out.”said Ryu. “If I could get over to that gate in time and see if those flames are real or get over that high iron fence—we might still have a chance.”
“And if ya don’t mate?”said Rango.
“Well,no one can’t say I didn’t try now,did
I?”said Ryu. “It’s a chance we’ve got to take…but I may need some real
help on this in diverting those zombies away.”
“I have enough speed for such a situation,Ryu.”said
Guy. “I’m in.”
“Anyone else here want to lend a hand?”said
Ryu.
“I’m a ninja of speed and shadow as well.”said
Hiryu. “I shall help only for us to get out here—and eventually reschedule
our---re-matches.”
“Agreed.”said Guy. “We’d better see if
we can still get out there first.”
“Yes,and the only way so far is through
that door.”said Ryu. “Strange how it wasn’t affected by the same spell
that surrounds glass windows.
Well,anyways we’d better get a move on. Guy,Hiryu—let’s go.”
“Good luck Ryu—and be careful.”said Chun-Li.
“The rest of you as well.”
“We will Chun-Li,trust us.”said Ryu.
The trio then exited the meeting room and went back through the halls to the same emergency exit door they were at.
“Okay here’s the plan.”said Ryu. “I want both of you to try and attract the attention of those monsters out there while I make a break for the gates.”
“That should work.”said Guy. “My Bushin
skills allow me to move twice as fast as a normal human.”
“And I have mastered the art of invisibility, teleportation
and shadow.”said Hiryu. “It should keep those ghouls in stitches while
you do your part Ryu-san.”
“Okay then,let’s do it!”said Ryu.
The Shotokan then gripped the handle of
the door,took a deep breath,counted to three,and opened it.
When he did, there was no one there.
Ryu then carefully peeked outside to see
if anyone was there, sure enough there wasn’t so far.
“Before we go,we’d better find something
to prop the door open with.”he said.
Guy went off and found a large plastic
garbage can and placed in front of the propped door.
“As soon as we get back here,we’ve gotta
make sure no zombies make it back in here.”he said.
“Well, let’s get on with this.”said Hiryu.
The trio then went back out and carefully
crept towards the gates.
Suddenly, they all heard the inhuman sounds
of a what sounded like a dog barking..and saw the same zombified hound
come at them…followed by the same group of zombies.
“LOOK OUT!”said Guy.
The dog then jumped straight for Ryu.
But he was ready for anything as he did
a hard Shoryuken, knocking the dog backwards and across the pavement.
“C’mon—hurry!”said Ryu.
The trio then made a run for it at the
gates as the horde of zombies ran and staggered straight for them.
The three raced around the back of the
building and were nearly there for the gates.
When suddenly,another group of zombies
appeared in front of the gates.
“DAMN!”said Ryu. “NOT NOW!”
“Stay put Ryu.”said Guy. “We’ll handle
this.”
Guy then sprinted forward at the ghouls, and then swung low to do a foot-sweep on them all, knocking the monsters to the ground.
Then, the other group of deadheads came along, allowing for Hiryu to work his magic.
Hiryu took out a couple of smoke pelletes and threw them at the zombies, confusing and blinding them in thick clouds of smoke.
The two zombie hounds then came at him.but using the art of teleporatation,he vanished, causing both dogs to collide into each other.
“We’ve got them tumbling Ryu—go for it!”said
Guy.
Ryu nodded and then took off for the gates.
When he made it to the flames,he raised
his hands in front, feeling to see if the heat was real or not.
“Hmmm..it feels real.”he said. “But will
it---?”
Ryu then turned to see a branch on the
ground, picked it up and stuck it into the flames.
The branch immediately turned to ash in
his hand.
“My gosh!”he said. “This is no natural flame. Maybe I can get over the gates by climbing them.”
Ryu then grabbed ahold of the bars of the
gate fence and began to scale them.
But—as soon as he made it to the very
top—he was jolted by another unseen force.
“UNNGH!”he went as he fell off the gate
and to the ground.
“What is this---another force field?”he
said.
The jap reached down and took a rock, then
threw it the air above the fence.
The rock just bounced off as if there
was a solid wall there.
“I don’t believe this!”he said. “If that’s there—then it must be around the whole damned gate. As for those flames---maybe I can use my Shin Hadouken hard enough---.”
Ryu cupped his hands to the side, summoned his inner ki energy and formed a blazing white orb of ki energy.
“SHINKUUUU----HADOUKEN!”he shouted and unleashed a large fireball of energy at the wall of flames.
The fireball hit the flames and surges
of energy and power exploded against each other.
It almost looked as if the flames were
about to break apart,but---at the last minute, the energy disappared and
the wall of fire stood as firm as ever.
“No!”he said in despair. “I gave it my strongest and it still stands?”
“RYU!”called Guy. “We can’t hold them any
longer,we’ve gotta go back to the center!”
“Right—c’mon!”said Ryu.
Hiryu threw the last of his smoke pellets as Ryu and Guy ran past him.
The trio then made a mad dash for the door they came through and got back inside just as the rampant zombies were just inches away from the door.
Guy kicked the can out of the way and slammed
the door shut.
The trio then collapsed on the floor, trying
to catch their breath.
“Well---did it work?”said Hiryu.
“No—nothing.”said Ryu. “When I climbed the fence,an invisible force field came up on me---and when I tired to destrpy the flames with my strongest Hadouken—it still stood firm.”
“Then—then we’re really trapped?”said Guy.
“I—I still refuse to believe that!”said
Ryu. “There must be a way out of here and I’m not gonna stop till I find
it! C’mon—let’s get back to the others.”
WHILE BACK TO CHARLIE AND CAMMY…
The two commandos contined thjeir way down the dark and mysterious tunnel of their unknown destination.
“I remember the last thing that occurred
before we got here was being captured by some—strange person in a hooded
cloak.”said Cammy.
“I remember that as well.”said Charlie.
“After that—I think we both blacked out and came to in this…place.”
“Well,if this—person brought us here—why
doesn’t he tell us why we’re here?”said Cammy.
“I don’t know.”said Charlie. “Must delite
in deviousness. They must enjoy chucking us in the deep end watching us
sink or swim.”
Suddenly, the pair then came upon a light
coming from around the around corner.
“Look—maybe we’re getting somewhere.”said
Cammy.
“Maybe.”said Charlie. “C’mon.”
The pair ran ahead around the corner and found themselves in what appeared to be—a strange chamber of some sort.
There was a high ceiling with a pain glass window colored in red and green symbols that neither recognized.
The brickwork was a light red with a gold hue to it and brightly lit torches were placed upon the four corners of the room.
And in it’s center, was a strange crystal orb placed on a black pillar of stone.
“What in the hell is that?”said Charlie.
“Looks like---a crystal as any fool would
tell ya LT.”said Cammy.
“I can see that.”said Charlie. “Just what
is it doing here and what are we supposed to do now? There’s no place else
to go from here---it’s a dead end.”
Cammy then walked up to the ball and looked
straight at it,seeing nothing but her reflection.
“Don’t touch it.”said Charlie. “There’s
no telling what it could really be.”
Suddenly, the two heard a footfall and turned
to see someone looking at them from the shadows.
“Who’s there?”said Charlie. “Show yourself
or get a big Sonic Boom in your face!”
The stranger chuckled and entered the room.
“My,my…what a pair of specimens you two
are.”said the stranger as he emerged from the shadows.
Cammy and Charlie’s eyes went wide at
the sight of the appearance of the stranger.
The stranger was in fact a female and a strange one at that.
She was tall,shapely and slender.
She wore a sexy but strange get-up of
black swimsuit, red leotards with bat imprints on them and matching black
boots.
Her shoulder length hair was green as jade
and a pair of black bat wings were affixed to her back as well as the top
of her head.
Her dark violet eyes mirrored a look of
seduction in them as well as crooked smile that was upon her face through
ruby red lips.
“Who the bloody hell are you?”said Cammy. “In fact are you?”
The stranger placed a hand on her hip and
answered.
“I---am Morrigan Areasland.”she said.
“Succubus and mistress of the underworld. And you two my dears—are my unwilling
guests. HAHAHAHHAA!”
