Back inside the damaged and shorted out collisium and civic center,Ryu and the rest of the fighters fouind themselves in total darkness of the entrance corridor and they were all trying to feel their way around.

“If I fell anyone trying to feel my butt---I’ll put both of their arms in a cast!”said Mika.
“Cool it Mika,”said Guy. “most of us are concerned with just getting out of here.”

“Yeah,where the heck’s the doors we came through to get here?”said Sean. “And can we go back through the doors to the arena?”

“Afraid not,Sean.”said Ryu. “While Den and I were trying to dig you all out,Bison used a terrible amoutn of his ki energy to rip apart the very ground we stood on,if any of us were to go in there now---well…it might be quite drop if you catch my drift.”

“Yeah,I guess so.”said Sean.
“Gotta hand it to Bison,”said Ken. “he always knows how to crash something when least expected.”
“He’ll go down one day,I promise you that!”said Chun-Li.
“Sooner the better.”thought Makoto. “I sure don’t wanna go through all this again.”

Suddenly,Li remembered something she had hidden away in her belt.
She reached in and took out a mini-flashlight.

She then switched it on and shone it around the room.
“Sorry,but in the excitement I forgot I ever had this with me for just such an emergency.”she said.
“That’s good to hear,way to go Chun-Li.”said Sean.
“Good show!”said Dudley.

Li then shined it over on Den and Tana.
“Eehh---sorry but—would you mind not showing that light so much in some of our eyes?”he said.
“Oh—sorry!”said Li as she swung the light around to find a door.

She then found the door they came through from the meeting room.
“Bingo!”she said. “C’mon!”

The entire group then walked through the door and found themselves in another dark room. But,at least they knew where they were at this time.”

“Man,whatever Bison did,he must’ve really shorted out the power in the entire building.”said Sean.
“Not all the power,”said Ken. “I think…I remember hearing about a back-up power supply being installed in this building.”

“Well,all we have to do is find the power supply room,find the switch and we’re out of here.”said Makoto. “Easy right?”
“Maybe.”said Li. “If you know your way around here.”

“No prob Li.”said Ken. “I fought in one of the recent tournaments held here,so I’ll try to lead the way,I did manage to take a slight tour around here with Eliza once.”

“Yeah,master Ken is da man!”said Sean.
“All right junior,settle down now.”said Ted. “Let’s see him get us out of here first.”

Ken took the torch and went to the door mrked EXIT and lead the way out.

The entire group of fighters then made their way through a wide hallway adorned with chairs,a couple of water fountains,pictures of artists and winners of past artistic events that were held down at the center for the arts and a couple of trophy cases stood up against the wall.

“Hmmm…typical american décor.”thought Ugyo. “Bland and dusty.”
Finally,they all came across a beam of moonlight and were at last in front of the main entrance doors of the collisium.

“At last!”said Sodom. “It was starting to get stuffy in here.”
“That’s cause you wearing a tin-can for clothes boy.”said Fred.

Ken turned and bowed to the crowd.
“Thank you,thank you..your admiration is overhwelming.”he said jokingly.
Li and Ryu laughed. “Okay Ken,thanks for leading us out,but we’ll all feel a lot better when we get out of here and report back to Interpol and get a lead on Shadowloo if any.”

“I’d feel better if we were back in the tournament if there still was one.”said Chen.
“Maybe we will when this is all over.”Ted said to him.

Ken then switched off the light and went up to the doors.
But…as he pulled on the handle of the enarest handle,he found that it wouldn’t budge at all.
“Hey,what gives here?”he said still rattling the doors.

“I think the door’s musty be electronically sealed.”said Li. “And after the power outtage,they’re sealed shut.”

“Great.”said Ken frowning in anger. “It’s always something!”
“Aw c’mon now.”said Chen as he walked up beside him. “It’s no problem if you just—break through the glass.”

“Uh—easy for you to say,Wang.”said Ken. “This is city property we’re dealing with here ya know.”
“You got any better ideas,Mr.American Champion?”said Rango.
“Yeah I know,we haven’t got a choice right now.”said Ken. “Besides that,I got the dough to cover for the door and I’ll throw in some extra cash to fix up the place.

And—I’ll handle the honors here Wang,if ya don’t mind.”
“Hey,just as long as ya get us out of here,that’s fine and dandy with me.”said the Aikido.
Ken brought his right elbow back,let out a sigh of breath,getting ready to make a hit.

Then..after a few seconds….he slammed his hard elbow right into the surface of the glass.

“WHAM!”
But—to his avail,the glass didn’t break,it didn’t even crack.
Suddenly,a charge of green energy surged from the glass and repelled Ken from where he stood,causing hiim to fly across the floor.

“KEN!”said Ryu as he and Sean went over to him.
“You okay man?”said Sean.
Ken got up and rubbed at his head and shoulder.
“Man,I don’t know what happened…but…when I hit the glass,some strange force of energy sprang out from the glass surface and jolted me.”

“Hmmm…how could that have happened?”said Guy.
“Dunno.”said Sean. “But I betcha the man in red had something to do with it,and I don’t mean Santa Claus.”
“Looks like I should try my luck then.”said Chen.

“Chen,didn’t you see what Ken did?”said Ryu. “Ya can’t break out of that glass.”
“Keeping Chen from doing what he pleases was never an easy feat Ryu.”said Den. “But let him try.”
“Sounds more to me like you don’t discipline him very well either Mr.Matrimon.”said Chun-Li. “I suggest you keep a leash on that ‘dog’ of yours—before someone runs it over!”

Chen slammed both fist and then a few rise kicks at the window,but he also couldn’t smash through it and was jolted by the same energy,and nearly lost his footing.

“Nhh…I’m afraid the american and his friend is right after all.”he said. “Some…energy barrier is holding the doors shut so no one can even smash through glass.

“I agree with Sean on this one.”said Li. “It’s gotta be Bison’s work…he said he was going to bury us alive if he had to—and it looks like this is just the beginning of our little’prison’ here.”

“Not if we can help it!”said Fred. “There’s always a way out of any prison or trap. Speaking as a retired soldier I oughta know!”
“Well,I hope you have a way to get out us out of here soldier man.”said Ken. “Cause I’m open to ideas as well.”
 

Suddenly,everyone heard something rustling and rattling nearby.
“What was that?”said Juno.
The rattling got louder.
“Never mind that---what was that?”said Mika.

Sodom looked ahead from the front doors and saw a closet door marked JANITORIAL that was rattlign.
“There,it’s coming from that door.”said the samurai.
“Huh---it’s either a rat or two---or it could be the killers we’ve been looking for.”said Sean.

“D-did you say killers?”said Ted.
“Long story I’m afraid guys.”said Guy. “we’ll explain later,as soon as we get out of here that is.”
Sodom took out both of his sais and stood in front of the door.

“Stand back,I’ll handle this one.”he said.
The samurai crept up to the door,and griped the door handle.
He then took a deep breath,and pulled it open.

“YAHH!”screamed a trio of voices as they all fell out into the open and across the floor.
“It’s them—it’s the killers!”said Mika.
“On your feet,all of ya!”said Sodom.

The trio of strangers all got up from their fallen positions and faced the troupe of fighters.
Chun-Li then took the flashlight and shone it on the suspects in question.

Standing before them were three fighters like themselves,who obviously had entered the torurnament earlier.
One was the blue wearing Brian Bluebolt,the boxer Ryu fought first in the preliminaries,the next was a fighter monk with a typical shaved head and wearing a set of green pants,orange sash around his waist and orange and shin guards and matching green shoes.

The third was a female fighter and who stood over six feet tall over the other two fighters who were with her.
 

She had long curly hair that went down to her behind and wore a dark green haeadbanad around her head as well as a spandex set of matching drak green spandex pants and running shoes as well as orange grip gloves on.

Her build was the same as Mika’s muscualr and very shapely in all full figure curves.
“Whoo—check her out!”thought Sean.
“Crickee,we got a big bird here.”said Rango.
“Allo,allo---er I mean good evening my dear.”said Dudley.
“Looks like Mika and Chun-Li’s got competition in the bust-size department.”thought Ken.

“Who-who are you guys?”said the woman. “Are you competitors in the tournament?”
“Right the first time young lady.”said Sodom as he presented himself. “And what’s a big hot thing like you doing in a place like---HEY!”

Chun-Li stepped in front interrupting him.
“I’ll take it from here Sodom,you can work your charms later.”she said.
Sodom grumbled in irratation.

Chun-Li whipped out her badge.
“Officer Xiang of Interpol.”she said. “We’re in a bit of a spot ourselves here,but…I’d like to ask you a couple of questions first.”
“Oh uhmm…sure ma’mm.”said Bob.”The name’s Bob Bluebolt,heavyweight champion of the Boxing Federation. My uh---associates here are--.”

“Lei Lo.”said the monk as he bowed. “Warrior monk from Tibet.”
The woman giggled and presented herself.
“And my name’s Diana,the whopper Mcgan.”she said.
“The Whopper?”thought Chun-Li. “Figures…”

“Well,now that most introductions are in order.”she said. “Would you mind telling us what you three were doing hiding in a broom closet?”

“Oh that uhmm…”began Bob. “Uh…you wanna tell’em Lei?”
Lei nodded and stood before Li.
“There are---wicked monstrous demons outside this very building!”he said. “Horrible—horrible monsters!”
“Monsters—Demons?”said Fred. “Damn,what’s this guy been smoking?”
Lie took out his beaded necklace. “Of the Tibet religions I represent…I am not jesting or joking! See for yourself—outside of the exit door down there!”

Li shined her light down the hall and found a white metal door marked EXIT.
“Hmm…stay here you guys.”she said and then walked ahead.
Ryu and Guy went up with her.
“We’ll go with you,if you don’t mind.”said Ryu.
“Sure thing.”said Li. “Just be ready for anything.”
“Aren’t we always?”said Guy.

The trio then came upon the door.
“Hmm…do ya think what he says could be true?”she asked.
“Maybe,maybe not.”said Ryu. “Not unless Bison left another ansty little surprise for us all before he left.”
“One way to find out.”said Guy. “I’ll take the door.”

Guy placed both hands on the hydraulic handle,took a deep breath and simply pushed it open.
There,out in the darkness stood nothing.
Nothing,but a waste basket that stood on the small section of sidewalk and the vast parking lot that stood there as well.

Guy sighed slightly in relief.
“Well..one thing’s for sure.”said Guy. “We appeared to have found a way out of here after all.”
“And whatever was out there,probably turned tail after all.”said Li. “But I think it’s safe to get the others,so I’ll go and tell them.”

Suddenly,Ryu just had a reliazation. “Wait a minute,weren’t the other doors supposed to be sealed by..something…? Then how is it that this door is open?”

Guy and Li suddenly realized it as well,when suddenly….

“RAAAAGHH!”
“BLOOOOD!”
A pack of zombies and a couple of zombified dogs came out of nowhere at the threshold.

They were as hideous as the other fighters said they were,and they were about to make a reach for their intended victims.
