Capt.Guile lead Ryu and the others into a secret safe-house known only to the US military.
He lead them through a desolate corridor from the threshold and came across a secret electronic door that only he had acess to with a special card he kept in his pocket.

Guile ran the plastic card across an electronic security system and the door opened,revealling a combo of a control and living room quarters.

“Hey—stylin’.”said Honda looking around at the plush surroundings.

“Government men always got it good.”said Hawk.
“I wouldn’t go that far injun-man.”said Guile. “Military life’s not all it’s cracked up to be—when dealing with trash like Shadaloo.”

“Well spoken.”said Chun-Li. “The question now is—what exactly are you planning to do with us and how long?”

“Till we can shake off all of the Shadaloo scumbags tailing us—and get a lead on Bison himself.”said Guile. “That’s how.”
 

“That could take a while ya know.”said Cammy.
“I agree.”said Hawk. “We don’t even have a clue as to where he really is let alone Shadaloo’s base of operations.”

“None the less.”said Guile. “I’m afraid I must insist until—hey where you going Hoshi?”
Ryu was headed for the nearest exit he could go to.

“What does it look like american?”said Ryu. “The more I dally here—Ken could either be still missing—or worse! I must go and find him as well as the rest who were responsible for his assault.”

“I said no one goes nowhere until we sort this mess out!”said Guile. “Which means I hold authority over you all.”

“Sorry,my mind is clear Guile.”said Ryu. “But thanks for all your help.”
Guile ran up at Ryu and jumped right over him,stopping him in his tracks.

“Look,don’t make this difficult!”said Guile. “This is a delicate situation—you don’t know Shadaloo at all—and you don’t know what they’re capable of!”

“I’ve dealt with villians and terrorists before Guile.”said Ryu. “I am aware of the risk and must take it—now out of my way!”

“You asked for it jap-man!”said Guile as he threw his arms back to do his fearsome fireball move.

“SONIC-BOOM!”he shouted and threw his arms forward as well as his double fireball at Ryu.
The shotokan jumped high into the air over the projectile and came flying down at the soldier.

Guile was hit sqaure in the chest by a flying kick and crashed up against a wall.
“I didn’t want to get rough with a fellow warrior either.”he said. “But you left me no choice!”

“I’m gonna so mop the floor with you pal!”said Guile as he was about to attack again.

But before they could do so,the giant T.Hawk came between the two and lifted them both of them up by the fronts of their shirts.

“STOP THIS DAMMIT!”he shouted in rage. “BOTH OF YOU!”
“Hawk’s right guys!”said Chun-Li. “We’re supposed to fight the bad guys—not each other!”

(A lot more characters from other animes and comic books should get that message across to them by now IMO-DUNES.)
“I’m just trying to see to everyone’s safety is all!”protested Guile.
“If ya ask me,all you’re doing is being a bullying pest!”said Hawk. “So you cool it now military man! And the same goes to you as well Mr.world warrior,got it?”

Both sighed.
“Got it.”they said in unison.
“Good,”said Hawk as he set them both down. “but do that again,and I’ll send ya both to the moon,grapple throw express that is.”

Cammy turned to Chun-Li.
“Men,typical behavior.”she whispered to her.
“I wouldn’t go that far sister.”said Li. “Ryu is truly a man of honor,and has a caring sense for others that would astound you.”

“Speaking as a man,I second that.”said Honda. “He just doesn’t…wait too well as one would at times.”
“Maybe…”said Cammy. “…I suppose that’s what you expect from someone who scarred Sagat and took the street fighter championship.”

“Look Guile.”said Li as she approached him. “we’ll work together with you on this sure—but in case you don’t know,you’re not the only one with authority around here. I happen to be an agent of Interpol.”

“Interpol?”said Guile. “I heard they get around..but not to Shadaloo operations.”
“Well they do now.”said Chun-Li showing Guile her ID badge. “I voluntered to find and infiltrate any Shadaloo-based operations.”

“And don’t forget that like you mate,I happen to be military as well---commando lines that is.”said Cammy. “So…you’re not alone!”

“Okay,okay…”said Guile easing them off. “…maybe I went a little overboard there..but we’ve got a common enemy here right? So we’d best pool our resources here.”

“I’m for that.”said Hawk. “And Ryu,please try to be patient,if you know Ken,I’m sure that he’s still gotta be out there somewhere right?”

“That is true.”said Ryu. “We trained and learned from the best that is Sheng Long---Ken may still be a survivor at heart. But…this situation is more dire than I thought---because I somehow sense that something else far more dangerous looms on the horizon.”

“Whatever it may be Ryu.”said Chun-Li. “We can handle it—and more.”
“That’s right.”said Guile. “So—let’s stop with the chattering and get to work on this.”

Guile went up to a control and monitor panel and began to switch on several surveliance systems.
A map of the entire city and beach area of Los Angeles came on the screen,and on it were several red and blue dots pinpointed on certain locations.

“In case you’re wondering.”said Guile. “The red dots indicate that Shadaloo operatives are in the area,and the blue dots indicate well-known street fighters that have come to the city—for reasons as yet unknown.”

“Street Fighters?”said Ryu. “Hey—maybe you can identify some of them.”

Guile punched up an access code on the keyboard.
“I was about to do that.”he said.

And the screen then changed to a row of pictures of different fighters.

“Okay…let’s see…”said Guile looking the list over.
“Dhalsim…yoga master of India…Dee Jay…kickboxing champ of Jamaica…Blanka…man-beast of Brazil…Fei Long…kung-fu champ and movie star of Hong Kong…Zangief…wrestling champ of Russia…can’t believe he’s still in the area. And…a few unknows as of right now….some Taek Won Do fighter named Bael who fought in the last Street Fighter tournament…. And….no info on any of the unconfirmed as of right now.”

“Bael…?”said Guile. “As in Bael Hoswang?”
“Yeah…”said Guile. “…that’s what the computer says…you know him?”
“Not personally no.”said Ryu. “He and I fought in the semi-finals before I reached Sagat..he was good—but still had much to learn as I did. But—I wonder what he’s doing here?”

“And don’t forget that loony monk guy we ran into.”said Chun-Li. “What was his name…?”
“I think he said it was..Tung-Lo something.”said Honda. “And he wanted to challenge Ryu.”

“Tung-Lo huh?”said Guile as he turned back to the computer. “I’ll run a scan up on him and any warrior monk clans.”

“This is getting weirder and weirder by the minute.”said Hawk. “They all must be searching for either Ken,Ken’s would-be killers…or Ryu himself.”

“Whatever it is.”said Cammy. “I hope we unravel it before Bison unravles us.”
“Nothing on this guy I’m afraid.”said Guile.

“But I read somewhere once that a clan of Shaolin warriors in China have been trying a sort of promotional campaign by sending a newly graduated monk by sending him off into the world to find and defeat worthy opponents. He must be from that clan.”

“So what do we about all that exactly…captain?”said Cammy.
“I have an idea.”said Guile. “Bison just may happen on these guys and try to recruit them as well—and that’s extra hassles we don’t need right now if they’re all searching for some of us. So—here’s what we can do. I’ll muster up some local help from the air force base I work at and try to round up the rest of these guys as well.”

“That might work.”said Ryu. “Do you need help on this?”
“Sorry pals’n’gals—no can do right now.”said Guile. “But I need the five of you to stay put right now until I get back—and please try to be reasonable this time okay? Bison’s forces are as unpredictable as he is—and if we all stay in the same spot—we can try to have some edge over him.”

“Very well…”said Ryu. “….but know this Guile---Ken must be found soon---and I speak for all of us when I say---if anything goes wrong—we will surely defy your grasp here.This evil must be stopped—and soon.”

“Couldn’t agree more right now pajama boy.”said Guile. “But we have to do this my way for now. So—make yourselves comfortable---and don’t anyone here touch the equipment---it’s military property and delicate.”

Guile then went off back to the entrance and back to his jeep.
Cammy sighed in disgust.
“Whatta daft dope.”she said. “He may be cute—but he wouldn’t recognize a fellow officer if they were buck naked!”

“I guess Guile likes to be his own boss.”said Hawk. “But…I can just guess that something about Shadaloo makes him get all bent and touchy at the seams.”

“As a matter of fact there is.”said Cammy. “I read in some files that---someone close to him was taken by Bison himself.”

“Really now.”said Chun-Li. “I heard Guile had a grudge against Shadaloo. “but I never knew how much of one.”

“Well at least I can relate to that much.”said Hawk. “Since we’re comparing reason to why we do this—I got a stake against Bison as well. He---killed my father.”

Li went up to Hawk and held his hand.
“You’re…not alone in that one ya know.”she said. “Bison did the same to me as well.”
“Oh I’m so sorry to hear that deary.”said Cammy. “It looks like we all have something against him.”
“Almost everyone ya mean.”said Honda. “At least his boys ain’t done nothing to me—yet.”
“They’ve hurt Ken.”said Ryu. “At least I have a good reason to want this Bison down and at my feet.”

“What about you Cammy?”said Hawk. “You got something on the B-man?”
Cammy scratched the back of her head. “Well---kinda—the problem is—if I get to Bison—I may have to ask the man himself what he knew of my past. Because I think---that’s what he took from me.”

“I think we may all have to team up against Bison when this is over.”said Ryu. “What we’re going up against here may be greater than we know.”

While back in the city…

Fei Long,Dhalsim,Blanka,and Dee Jay continued their way across Los Angeles for any sings of Ryu and Ken as well as dodging any further encounters with any more Shadaloo hit men.

“Man,you’d be think it’d be easy to find a guy in white P.J’s and a red rambo headband.”said DJ.
“I fear that the trail may have grown cold.”said Blanka sniffing the air. “I can no longer pick up a scent.”

“I can still sense the fighter’s chi of Ryu.”said Dhalsim. “But it is as faint a small breeze.”

Suddenly,before turning another corner of the back alleys they were in,a large unforseen obstacle came across them—the russian bear Zangief!

“WHOOOOA!”said Fei looking up. “Major road block!”
“What is he—a hairless bear?”said Dee Jay.
Blanka growled. “More like trouble—stand fast!”

Zangief saw the small group of fighter just as Blanka sprang into his roller attack.
“No Blanka—wait!”said Dhalsim.

Too late,but as Blanka came just within in inches of the grappler,Zangief went into his spinning clothesline and knocked the beast away,causing him to crash into a dumpster.

“Ha!”said the russian. “You try and best Zangief eh?”
“Wait Zangief---we are not your enemy!”said Dhalsim as he approached him. “You remember we fought once?”
“Aahhh…master Dhalsim.”said Zangief bowing to him. “I remember the great battle we once fought when I was travelling to become stronger.”

“Yes,you tried to make a pretzel out of me.”said Dhalsim grinning. “But I toasted your backside pretty well.”

Zangief laughed. “Yes,those were good times. My apologies fellow fighters,I was looking for someone.”
Blanka jumped out of the dumpster,rubbing his head.

“It’s okay mon.”said DJ. “He means no harm,really.”
“Coulda fooled me.”said Blanka.

“We are looking for a warrior named Ryu—as well as the whereabouts of the one named Ken who was attacked.”said Dhalsim. “Have you seen either of them?”

“Afraid not my friend.”said Zangief. “I too am looking for them as well,but I ran into a pair of Shadaloo thugs---they in a stroke of sheer luck got the better of me. And---I think someone has been trying to follow me.”

Fei looked over at the back roads of the alley they were walking in.
“I don’t see anyone.”he said.
“No but I sense someone just a few inches around the next corner.”said Dhalsim. “Stay here—I will investigate.”

Dhalsim said the word”YOGA!”
And then vanished into thin air.

“Whoa mon!”said DJ. “He be amazing!”
Dhalsim teleported to where the snoop was and appeared right behind him.

“You there!”he said. “What is your business?”
The spy yelped and turned to face Dhalsim.

He had spiky brown hair and was wearing a light blue Taek Wan do uniform from Korea.
“Are you a fighter—or a spy from Shadaloo?”said Dhalsim.
The man gave no reply.
“Answer me!”said Dhalsim.

The Korean simply jumped at Dhalsim and did a dive kick on him.
“UNNGH!”Dhalsim was hit right in the chest by the force of the kick and nearly fell backwards.
The Koran continued the assault as he did a few stab punches a spin kick at his enemy.

Dhalsim was barely able to defend himself as he was hi twice in the shoulder and then kicked in the side from his attacker.

Dhalsim did another Yoga teleport and vanished from the Korean.
“HUH?!”said the fighter amazed.
Dhalsim then reappeared again at the attacker,but was a few inches away from him.

The Korean was about to attack again,but Dhalsim did some attacking of his own.
Dhalsim did an elongated punch at the Korean,hitting him in the chin,and then kicking him in the shin with a stretch kick.

The Korean tumbled backwards from the Indian.trying to form a new attack plan.
But before he could,Dhalsim did another attack,his Yoga fire blast.

Yoga brought his head back and once he brought it forward,he shot a fireball from his mouth that went straight at the Korean.

“YOOOW!”said the fighter as he dodged the fireball and dove to the ground.
“Now---mind telling us who you are?”said Dhalsim.
The Korean jumped back to his feet.

“My name is Bael—but you’re not the one I seek—I must go elesewhere!”he said and then ran off in the direction of the exit of the alleys they were in.

“STOP HIM!”said Zangief.
“No---let him go.”said Dhalsim. “He had great fighting chi—but—I sense he has a troubled spirit—perhaps he is seeking someone to help him achieve the confidence he needs to win again.”

“Well,there seems to be as much street fighters showing up as there is Shadaloo thugs popping up out of nowhere.”said Fei.

“Zangief,would you come with us on our quest?”said Dhalsim. “We may need all the help we can get on this.”

“I will help a fellow warrior if need be.”said Zangief saluting him. “Lead on master.”

The five warriors continued on their way.

Tung-Lo meanwhile continued to run across the city,trying to find any sign of Ryu and Chun-Li.
“Blast it all!”he thought. “I wasted too much time on that lowly thug. I should’ve just knocked him out quickly and continued after Ryu and his friends. This city block was the last place I saw them—but now they’re gone. They couldn’t have just got up and disappeared!”

Suddenly,two large black limos drove past Tung-Lo and went around a corner leading into a deeper part of the alleys and slums of the city.

And in it were not one,but two rather major nasties in them---Sagat and Vega.

Bison spoke to Sagat on the communications monitor.
“Guile is not as clever as he thinks.”said the warlord. “I have detected the location of this safehouse before—just had no reason to infiltrate it---until now. Anyways—you know the plan Sagat?”

“Yes master.”said Sagat. “We shall go to the safehouse—break in—and take Ryu’s friend Chun-Li hostage—and he will then fight me to the finish.”

“Most excellent.”said Bison. “And you’d best not fail me Sagat! I have extended too much time and money to have this go awry.”

“Yes Master,I know.”said Sagat.
“Success then.”said Bison. “And report to me when you have defeated Ryu.”

The two limos pulled up in front of the safehouse and both fighters as well as several armed men came out of them as well.

Vega,the spanish ninja was ready after a year’s worth of training under the hand of M.Bison.
“This is most exciting for me.”he said. “My first major task for Shadaloo.”
“Don’t get too excited about this Vega.”said Sagat. “These Street Fighters are more—skilled than you might think.”

“Bah—they are as ugly as they are unmatched against us us,senior Sagat.”said Vega. ”But I admit the one called Ryu is a far more dangerous foe than either of us could remember. I still feel phantom pains from the blow he gave me at the last tournament*.”(Vega recalling the flashback scene from SF no.1)”Anyways,what do we do?”

“First,we need to get Chun-Li.”said Sagat. “And you are of course the best thing we have in apprhending someone right out from the noses of our enemies.”

Vega bowed.
“Consider it done amigo.”he said. “I shall pluck the lovely flower from her garden and bring her here.”

Vega then ran up to a drainpipe and crawled right up it.
He then danced across the ledge and was up to one of the building’s windows.
He then used his claw to pry one of them open and was inside.

While back inside the room…

Ryu sat cross-legged in meditation,focuisng his inner chi and strength to perfection,to be ready for anything.

Hawk and Cammy sat on the sofas,watching some TV on the widescreen that was equipped in the living room,Honda was raiding the fridge in the kitchen and Chun-Li was looking over the mapped areas on the computer screen.

“I know Guile told me not to touch this stuff-but what he doesn’t know won’t harm him.”she thouhgt.
Suddenly,Chun-Li felt the need to relieve herself.

Arising from her chair she went off to find the bathroom.
Vega saw what was happening through a crack in the ceiling he was behind and smiled beneath his mask.
“Oh…that couldn’t be more perfect.”he thought.

Li walked down a wide corridor which had several unmarked doors on them.
She knew what they had to be—probably marked military gear that they store in here in case they had to use this place.”she thought.

“Just where—ah here it is.”
A door marked LADIES was there and Li entered it.

After a whole minute,she then finished her business and exited the room.
No sooner,did Vega himself appeared right before her.

“What th---?”she said.
“Ah,the ever vivacious Chun-Li Xiang.”said Vega. “I am Senior Andros Vega---former matridor and cage fighter champion of Spain—at your service. And you my dear—are to be my prey.”

“Lemme guess.”said Li. “Shadaloo sent you?”
“Si,they have.”said Vega. “And you are to come with me at once---or there will be some shredding to do.”

Li got into her fight stance and charged at Vega,doing a spin kick.
The ninja jumped into the air and leapt over Li.

Li turned to face him,but just before she could react,Vega sprinted forward with his claw and ripped open a deep gash on the front of her shirt.

“HEY!”she said.
The gash revealled a white bustier which contained Li’s blessed breast size.
“Hmmm…this should get interesting.”he said. “By the time I’m done—you’ll be a nude fighter—and I’m sure your naked form will indeed be a sight to see.”

“Pervert!”she said. “Quit yappin’and start fighting!”

Vega thrust at her again,but this time Li caught him by surprise as she thrust a leg upward and bashed him right in the chin!

“UGH!”went Vega as he fell backwards.
Li then moved in with a Kikoken right into the chest which sent Vega up against a door.

While back in the living room….
“Hey,you hear something?”said Honda.
“I didn’t hear anything.”said Hawk. “How can ya over the tv?”

“I just thought I heard some rattling and scuffles down the hall there.”said Honda.

Suddenly,the sounds of booms and thooms came out of nowhere.
“Now—don’t tell me ya didn’t hear that?”said the sumo.

A red alert signal suddenly went off and the computer screen changed to the image of several men trying to break in—Sagat was leading them.

“It’s Sagat!”said Ryu in shock. “He’s here!”
“That’s Sagat eh?’said Cammy looking at the image. “He’s even uglier in person.”
“But what’s he doing?”said Hawk.

“He and those goons with him have probably come for Ryu—that’s what!”said Honda.
“We’ve gotta do something!”

“And where’s Chun-Li?”said Ryu.

Chun-Li herself at that moment,was still battling it out with Vega in the hallyway area.
Vega sprang into his Claw arrow and shot straight at Chun-Li.

“YOW!”said Li as she ducked to the floor,causing Vega to fly straight over her.
Vega landed on both of his feet and was ready to attack again.

“Fast huh?”she thought. “I’ll show you!”
The chinese warrior woman leapt forward and did a sommersault where she landed on her hands and stuck both of her legs upward and began to make her whole body spin in a fast rotation manner.

“SPINNING AIR KICK!”she shouted as she flew at Vega like a human helicopter.
Vega managed to dodge the first wave of spin kicks,but to his avail,Li went into reverse and clocked him in the side of the head with the spin kick!

Vega then fell to the floor from the blow.

Sagat meanwhile continued his assault upon the reinforced door with his Tiger Shot blasts.
“TIGER-TIGER—TIIGER!”he shouted as he threw both of his fists forward,blasting off the orange boomerang shaped blasts from them.

The door’s surface was dented more and more as the Thai continued his assault.
“We could try and take them.”said Honda.
“We could.”said Ryu. “But they’re all armed,and this shouldn’t be the place for Sagat to have a rematch,and not under such vicious circumstances.”

“I’m afraid he’s right about that mates.”said Cammy. “C’mon let’s get Chun-Li and get the hell outta here to plan a form of attack.”

Suddenly,the entire door corridor blew open and smoke erupted into the room.
“TOO LATE---THEY’RE HERE!”said Hawk.

The group of gunmen came in and started to fire away everywhere in the room.

Ryu and the others began to run for cover from the gunfire.
“Huh---wha—Ryu?”said Chun-Li as she looked into the direction of the hall.

Vega saw his chance and did a flying kick right into Li’s head!
“UNNF—oooohhhhhh….”she moaned and fell to the floor in an unconscious state.
“Never keep your eyes off an opponent seniorita.”said Vega as he stood over her triumphant.”Hee-hee-hee…”

Sagat emerged from the smoke as he looked for his target.
“Ryu!”he shouted in rage. “RYUUUU—WHERE ARE YOU?”

Ryu stood before his enemy.
“I am here Sagat.”he said. “Are you here to fight me?”
“Yes,you and you alone.”said Sagat. “And you will do so at once.”

“You are not the honorable warrior I fought in the great tournament years ago!”said Ryu. “You dare to challenge me by bringing in petty thugs,I refuse!”

“Oh,but you will fight me!”said Sagat pointing his finger at him. “Behold!”

Vega brought the unconscious Chun-Li in with him,his claw aimed at her throat.
“Chun-Li!”said Ryu.

“You stinkin’ creep!”said Honda. “Let loose of her!”
“Ah-ah…not a step closer,or she gets it!”said Vega as he applied the tip of her claw at her throat.

The thugs aimed their guns at the two grapplers as well.
“Now Ryu,”said Sagat. “you have no choice in the matter,you will either fight me---or they die! What’s it to be?”

Ryu was faced with a fearsome challenge. What should he do?
