Many minutes passed later,as Guile and the reconassiance and clean-up crews looked over the damage.

Amongst the damage,Guile found a set of red thick beads and an all-too familiar red hat with the Shadaloo symbol on it.

"Hmmm..this may take awhile."said Guile.

An hour or so later,Ryu,Ken,Chun-Li,along with a few of the remaining street fighters who were in the finals gathered near the fight arena.

"So..."said Ken. "..find anything?"
"Not really."said Guile. "Just over a dozen or so charred remains of Shadaloo equipment,weapons,and of course Shadaloo operatives...but no remains of Bison's body or a pair of Shotokan masters either."

"Bison was killed--we all saw it."said Li.
"The power used on him was a secret move that even our master Sheng Long would never learn to use---the Raging Demon. And not even a monster like Bison could withstand it.

"Maybe,"said Guile. "but Bison's been known to escape death before--but we'll keep and eye open for anything when we continue our search for his remains."

"But..at least his operation is over."said Li. "Hopefully he'll never attack or kidnap anyone ever again after this."
"Yeah,but some of us had some unfinished business with that bastard."said Cammy. "Now i'll never really know where I came from."
"And I may never know if it was Bison who massacared my family."said T.Hawk.
"Same here with my late friend Charlie."said Guile.
"Nice to see i'm not alone in this after all."said Li.

Nadji then came up to the four fighters and offered something to them.
"I think---you may find some hard info from--these."she said.

Guile took the large folder and found several other file folders with the names,GUILE,CHUN-LI,T.HAWK,and CAMMY on them.
He handed a file to each of them.

They began to read them,and their faces changed expressions from suprise to anger and then a bit of sorrow.

"So...it was him that killed my friend and partner Charlie at Cambodia."said Guile.
"My family was--killed by his forces."said Hawk.
"I--I was one of his soldiers?"said Cammy."And a personal lover to him?"
"So,that's what really happened to my father."said Li. "He was investigating a drug ring and killed by him."

"Man,who'd thought that this Bison had that many notches under his belt."said Ken.
"There are many wicked people out there."said Ryu. "We can only hope that he is truly dead.

Listen,everyone--it's a shame what Bison did to each of you---but you must put your pain and pasts behind you,and move on with your lives. If you consume yourselves with revenge,you'd become no better than Bison himself."

"He--he's right."said Hawk. "I was taught better by my village elders to not pursue vengance,I shall restore my family's land when I get back. Farewell heroes,till we fight again."

Hawk then took the file and threw it in a nearby river.

Col.Wolffman walked up to Cammy.
"They're right,Cammy."he said. "As long as know who you are now,it matters not where you came from."
"So right,colonel."said Cammy as she threw the file into the river."Let's head home. Nice meeting you all by the way,let's do it again some time. Cheers."

Guile tucked the file under his belt.
"I'm gonna need this and the larger file for a report to my superiors and with it,we can track down any further Shadaloo operatives. Thanks a bunch Nadji,just steer clear of revenge as well.

As for you guys,it was nice meeting and fighting with you,we'll be sure to fight again in the next tournament if any."

Guile then saluted them and was off.

Chun-Li nearly shed a tear as she remembered her father as clear as day.
"Let it go,Li."said Ryu taking her hand. "Live for today and tomorrow,he'd want you to do that."

"Oh..what a fool I may have been."said Li as she did the same with the folder as they did.

Ryu and Ken smiled.
"Attagirl."said Ken.

They then turned to see Nadji still standing before them.

"Well...it's time I moved on as well."she said.
"I guess we were wrong about you as well."said Li. "But you are a great warrior."
"My days as a fighter are over,I must honro my father's memory and get on with my own life. I wish you all well...even you,Ryu."

She then bowed,and left the area.

"Quite a woman."said Ryu.
Li cleared her throat and gave Ryu a look.
"Uhmm..next to some that is."he said.

Steve Darren then approached Ken.
"Stand tall,Ken."he said. "I can now leave the legacy of america's strongest to you."
"Thanks,Steve.said Ken. "But I hope we could fight again someday."
"You want a rematch,you know where to find me."said Steve. "Till then..."

The two bowed to each other and Steve left for home.

Ryu was still looking at the sky,still thinking about his sensei.
"If anyone could survive,Ryu."said Ken. "He could."
"I know."said Ryu. "I just wish he was here to share with us in our victory."

"Hey,what about the title and trophy?"said Li. "You weren't rewarded with that."
"Guile told me that since this was not completly an official tournament and a front for Shadaloo,the victory was forfeit. But at least everyone knows that i'm the champion for sure."

"Yeah,at least till the next contest you mean."said Ken.
"That's right."said Li.
"I look forward to it as much."said Ryu. "Come on,let's head home."

"Eh--you and Li gotta get home,but me--I got a missus waiting,cause i've worried her long enough."said Ken.
"Well Ken,it was good to see ya again."said Ryu.
"You as well."said Ken.

The two grabbed hands and squeezed them tightly.
"Till we meet and fight again."said Ken.
"Likewise."said Ryu.

The trio then went their seperate ways.

Minutes later,as Ryu and Li arrived back in Japan at his sensei's dojo and home.

The two stood on the porch and watched as the sun went down at last.
"It's finally over."said Ryu. "At least I hope it is."
"Hey,if that Akuma creep survived,we'll be ready for him,no matter what."said Li.
"I know."said Ryu.

The pair then looked into each other's eyes,they then embraced,kissed and went inside for a well-deserved rest.

EPILOGUE:

The next few days turned into a process of healing and new beginnings for the world warriors.

Ken and Leiza went shopping for clothes for their soon to be born baby boy.
Guile stepped before the grave of his friend Charlie and placed his dog-tages on his grave and returned to his wife and daughter.
Dhalsim continued to fight for his people with his powers and enjoyed his family life with his wife and son.
Zangief continued to train in Russia
as did Honda with his fellow sumos in Japan.
Fei continued to make action movies in Hong Kong
Dee Jay continued to fight as kickboxer and made a second living as a reggea singer.

Cammy continued her life as a commando for the queen in the UK
and T.hawk was now repairing the damage Bison left his homeland in.

As for the remaining Shadaloo operatives.

Balrog returned to his home and started to train for a comeback as a heavyweight boxer.
Vega banished himself to the hills and moutains of Spain,and was never seen again.
and Sagat contineud to train in Thailand to one day face Ryu again in a new tournament.

While back in China,Chun-Li sat before her father's grave and prayed.
"For you my father,you can at last rest in peace--farewell."she said and then arose.

Li then went to the gates and found Ryu waiting for her.
"How do you feel know?"he said.
"For the first time in ages,pretty well."she said.

She then removed her hair cloths and let down her beautiful dark brown hair,revealling her true beauty.
"Going back to being a young single girl eh?"said Ryu.
"Hardly."said Li. "First off,i'm hardly single,and second..it seems my work as detective for Interpol is not yet finished,there's too much going on besides Shadaloo."

"I see.."said Ryu. "..well,I wish you the very best,Chun-Li."
"You as well,Ryu."she said. "But..what are you going to do now?"
"There have been many other strong and powerful opponents that iv'e faced before the last tourney we were in.
I think it's time I regained my travels once again and become greater and stronger."

"But..will I see you again?'said Li.
"We'll meet again in a year's time back at the dojo."said Ryu. "For now,we must get on with our own lives."
"I know,till then."said Li.

She then leaned in and kissed him again.
"I love you."she said.
"I too you as well."said Ryu.

The two lovers then went their seperate ways and life continued on as usual.

Ryu then made his way down a tree laiden path,many months later,he was in New Yourk City,fighting a brawny street fighter and enjoyed every minute of it. For him,the fight was all,and enjoying life with it.
