"Well,I guess this is it."said Ken."You ready?"
"As always."said Ryu. "Let's do it."

The two Shotokans stepped into the ring and prepared for their fiercest battle yet.

Cho speoke into the mic again.
"ALL RIGHT FOLKS--THIS IS IT,THE NEXT TO FINAL BATTLE THAT WILL TAKE THE FINALIST TO THE GREATEST FINAL BATTLE YET--AND IT'S GONNA BE A HOT BATTLE YET,IT'S THE BATTLE BETWEEN EAST AND WEST AS RYU HOSHI,LAST YEAR'S TOURNAMENT CHAMPION VERSUS KEN MASTERS,CHAMPION OF NORTH AMERICA!"

The crowds cheered for both of them.

"This is going to be one helluva battle."said Steve.

"Come on guys."thought Chun-Li. "Win this one,and take down Shadaloo with it."

While miles away,a squadron of helicopters from both the military of the US and Uk were on their way towards the tournament,in thailand.

Guile and Cammy were both in the lead chopper watching the last of the finals take place in a portable video monitor.

"Looks like it's down to them eh?"said Cammy.
"Sure does."said Guile. "Should've known it'd be the karate pajamas. I just hope we get there before either one faces Bison."
"Too right."said Cammy.

The two fighters then bowed to each other and the match began.

Both Ryu and Ken threw a Hadouken at each other,but their fireballs collided with each other and exploded in a blast of light.

When that was done,they charged at each other and started to trade blows.

Ken thrust a pair of punches and then a roundhouse kick,but Ryu ducked them both.
Ryu then did a leg-sweep,but Ken jumped over it.

He then did a pair of kicks,one at Ken's side and tried for his head,but Ken blocked it off.
Ryu then went for a hurricane kick,Ken at first managed to block it off,but was hit in the chest by the last kick,knocking him backwards.

Ryu then jumped into the air and was about to bring down a fist upon him,but Ken was faster at reacting than Ryu did and then launched his flaming Dragon Punch that sent Ryu crashing on his back.

Ken then came down at Ryu with a landing punch,but he siderolled away and Ken's fist landed upon the floor,smashing a hole in it.

Ryu and Ken stood at each other again,ready to mix it up some more.

Ken then jumped at Ryu,trying to do a flying kick,but he dodged it and slammed a foot into Ken's back.

The blonde then spun around and did a set of spin kicks,Ryu managed to dodge and duck them all.
He then slammed an elbow into Ken's chest and then did a rising Dragon punch to his chin.

Ken staggered away,and tried for another attack.
Ryu then threw another fireball,but Ken jumped over it and then released his most powerful Dragon Punch yet.

"SHORYREPPA!"
Ryu was lifted upward by a spinning Dragon Punch and was dropped back on the floor.

"BEAT THAT!"said Ken.
"O-kay..."said Ken as he got back up again.

Ken then rushed at Ryu again and was about to deliver another Dragon Punch attack,but just as he got close enough,Ryu unleashed his poweful Hurricane Kick attack.

"KRAKKRAKKRAKKRAKK-WHACK!"

Ken was hit in the head several times by his spin kick attack,and the last kick sent him flying out of the ring.

"RING OUT--RYU IS THE WINNER!"

The crowds cheered and applauded for Ryu once more,he was now the ultimate finalist.

"He did it!"said Li.
"Ah well Ken."said Steve. "Ya can't win'em all."

Ken rubbed at his head.
"Man,looks like he's the better karate..for now."he said.

Ryu raised a fist to signify his victory.

"So..."said Bison. "..he is the one who I must defeat to gain my power over the world.
So be it!"

Bison then arose from his chair and strode towards the doors that would lead to the final battle of the tournament.

While in the local police station..

Nadji sat in her cell with her back up against the wall.
A guard was watching her.

"Don't ya try anything funny now."he said. "Or you'll really be in it worse than a cell!"
The guard then went off to get a snack.

Nadji then reached into her back pocket and took out a sharp pointed blade.
She began to pick at the lock until it came undone.

And just as she got out,the guard came back,just to see her slam a flying kick into his chest and knock him out!

"Now--to get Ryu!"she said.
She rushed into the police evidence room and recovered her remaining battle rod spear and took off.

While at that same moment,another individual was about to create chaos for the one named Ryu.

"When it is over,I shall fight and kill Ryu."he thought. "And then...my brother Long is surely next!"

The final battle of battles was about to begin!
