KEN VS BALROG:THE REMATCH!

Ken had arrived back at the tournament to greet the other two finalists,Ryu and Chun-Li.
"Good job Ken!"said Ryu. "You made it!"
"I kinda thought I would."said Ken. "But that Dhalsim guy really was quite a guy to get past."

"Well,this is it."said Chun-Li."We've all made it to the finals,and one step closer to taking down Bison in the process."
"Yeah,we're gonna put the stops on this Shadaloo once and for all!"said Ken.
"I hope so."said Ryu. "But remember,we still know very little about this Bison madman,he may try anything in the final matches,so be on your guard."

"Right."said Ken.

Steve Cho,the announcer approached them.
"Congratulations to you all."he said. "You've all made it to the real event of the tournament--the Supreme Finals!"
"We know that."said Ken. "But who do we fight?"

"This way,please."said Cho.
He lead them to a portable video screen,switched it on and an image of three fighters appeared.

One was a boxer,one a matridor of some kind and a huge kickboxer.

"These are the ones you'll each face in the championship."said Cho.
"There's Balrog,former boxing champion of the world,Vega Spanish cage fighter and of course,the former Muay Thai champion and once champ of the recent World Warrior contests...Sagat."

"I thought so."said Ryu."Do we face them here or--?"
"Like your recent fights in the grand finals."said Cho. "You will be transported one last time to the destination points where the three challengers lay and wait.

Once there,you will fight it out in the most powerful match ever,if you win,you will go on to the last of the final matches,but if they win,the winning goes to the team championship."

"And Shadaloo could very well do more damage than we could imagine."thought Ryu.
"And this is where you get to choose your match."said Cho. "But remember,once chosen there's no turning back in this match."

"We're game,believe me."said Li.
"Yeah!"said Ken.
"Okay then,who's first?"said Cho.
"Me,that's who!"said Ken. "And I choose--BALROG!"

Ryu gasped in reaction at what Ken chose.
"Balrog it is."said Cho.

"Ken,are you sure about this?"said Ryu.
"Remember what you said happened last time you fought him."

"I remember only two well."said Ken. "I'd like to take on Sagat as well,but he's the one who started this mess with me,and I owe him big time,and he hasn't got mr.scarred giant with him anyways this time. Don't worry Ryu,i'll be real careful."

"I hope so."said Ryu.

Chun-Li then stepped up.
"I'll take on--VEGA!"said Li.

Ryu was twice as suprised when Chun-Li made the announcment.

"You got it!"said Cho.
"Li,are you sure...?"said Ryu.
"Positive."said Li. "I've trained twice as hard for this,and am ready for anything that clawed punk can throw at me. This time,he'll be the one in the hospital!"

Ryu had faith in his friend's strengths and abilites,but knew that these weren't tpyical run of the mill fighters they were going up against--but merciless killers from a terrorist organization.

Ryu then looked upon the screen at Sagat,and made the decision.
"I guess that leaves me---with SAGAT."he said.

"That's gonna be kickin'!"said Cho. "Yes,the rematch of a lifetime for the title of World Warrior! The crowds will eat it up!"
"You should've been a game show host."said Ken.
"I thought about it,but it didn't pay as much as this did."said Cho.

"Now,on to the main event. There are the last two planes to take the first two of you to your destination.
Good bye,and good luck--you'll need it."

Ken and Li boarded the planes,but Ryu wondered where his was.
"Oh,don't you remember,Ryu?"said Cho. "This is Thailand you're in and Sagat's home turf. His location is just a few miles from here beyone the temples here.

If you like,we could send a limo and--"
"No thanks."said Ryu. "I'll hoof it there,and i'll be ready."

Ryu then took off for his intended destination.
"Good luck!"said Cho.

While back on board the plane,Ken was lost in thought,remembering what happened to him the first time when Balrog ambushed in that back alley at a club in California.

"He and Sagat got me last time."thought Ken. "This realistic wig I wear on my head is still a reminder of that. Well..this time i'm ready for ya,Balrog...no mid gloves this time!"

The plane arrived back in Ken's homeland of America and landed at the local Air Port.
Ken then took a taxi to the place where the pilot gave him the description.

It was also getting pretty dark in the US because of the time zone,so this was one fight to be held at night.

When he arrived,he found a gathering of people in front of a local casino and a large gold strip on the ground that read LAS VEGAS on it.

When Ken walked up,everyone saw him and cheered his name.
"HEY--LOOK,KEN'S HERE!"
"ALRIGHT,NOW WE'RE GONNA SEE SOME REAL ACTION!"
"GO KEN!"

When Ken walked up to the strip he saw on the other side of it,Balrog himself.
"Hey actor--how's it hangin'?"said the boxer,it was the same thing he said to Ken before their last battle.

"Okay,Balrog!"said Ken as he cracked his knuckles. "This time you haven't got Sagat with you--so you better start worrying!"
"HA!"said Balrog. "You think I need that kickin'crazy ass to back me up? You're jokin'and besides that,he's gonna be facing Ryu as we speak!"

"We'll see about that--starting now!"said Ken.

The two fighters took up their stances and the match began.

Balrog made the first move as he dashed at Ken and thrust out one of his red gloved fists.
Ken ducked it and decked him in the chin,then did a roundhouse to the side of his head.

Balrog stood perfectly still from the blows.
"HUH?"said Ken.
Balrog smiled and then landed another thrust punch into Ken's face,knocking him backwards.

"Hey,what gives?"said Ken.
"In case you don't know."said Balrog. "Our boss Bison used some fancy doohickey called Psycho Power to make me and the others a lot stronger and more durable. So in other words,no matter how many times you punch and kick me,I won't go down!"

"Psycho Power or not,i'm gonna take you down!"said Ken. "Just bring it on!"
"Sure thing!"said Balrog as he thrust forward at Ken again.

He then did a series of thrust punches,but Ken managed to dodge and duck them with ease,but not forever as he sound found out.

Balrog hit Ken in the chest with a punch and then slammed him in the face with a Dash Upper,that sent him crashing to the ground.

"HAHA!"said Balrog. "Ya give up?"
"On a cold day in hell!"said Ken as he jumped back up again.

Ken then jumped at Balrog and did a Spin Kick at him,but the boxer blocked it off.
This however,gave him an opening as he lashed dowanward and did a leg-sweep on him,knocking the bruiser to the ground in turn.

"UNNNH!"
Balrog fell to the ground in turn.

"Still haven't learned to use your legs I see."said Ken. "A big pity."
Balrog jumped back to his feet.
"I don't need legs to beat you!"said Balrog as he charged again.

Ken then began to jump over him,but as he did,Balrog did another Dash Upper and sent Ken falling to the ground again.

But as he landed,Ken managed to do a roll forward and was back on his feet.

Balrog charged again,but Ken managed to hit him square with a Hadouken.
The blow caused him to stagger backwards,but still had little effect on him.

"Man,i've gotta find a better and harder way to beat this guy,or history's gonna repaet itself here!"thought Ken.

He then thrust at Balrog and did a trio of Dragon Punches.

"POW! 1"
"KRAKK! 2!"
"KA-POW! 3!"

But it was to no avail,and Balrog was still on his feet.

Balrog then went for another attack.

"CRAZY BUFFALO!"

He thrust forward and slammed Ken in the face and chest and then kncoked him down with a Dash Upper.

"YEAAHH!"said Balrog. "I AM THE CHAMP OF BOXING!"

Ken crawled back to his feet again.
Balrog then jumped at Ken and hit him again with a flying head-butt,then grabbed him by the shirt top and punched him so hard,it sent him skidding across the strip.

"Man,this is getting me nowhere!"thought Ken. "He's twice as strong as I remembered. I've gotta do something!"

Balrog thehn thrust at Ken again,but Ken dodged him and slammed a jump kick into his back and jumped away.

"Nothing's invincible."thought Ken. "So i've gotta find a way to either wear him out or try an even harder attack.

Ken then had an idea.

Balrog then jumped at Ken and was about to hit him again,but the blonde grabbed one of his arms and threw him over his shoulder.

Balrog fell on his back from the throw,but managed to get back up again.
He then thrust at Ken again,but he ducked it and did another leg-sweep on him.

Move after move,Ken managed to get Balrog to fall off his feet.

After the last few falls,as Balrog got back up,Ken noticed him huffing,sweating and puffing.
"All right,so there is a limit to his newly powered abilites."thought Ken. "Okay,now to really cut loose!"

"I--i'll mop the floor with ya,blondie!"said Balrog. "I WILL!"

"Sure ya will."said Ken as he thrust at Balrog and did his fiercest attack.

"SHORYUKEN!"

Ken whalloped Balrog in the chin with his flaming Dragon Punch and sent the bully falling to the floor once again.

The blow was a mighty one,but Balrog wasn't out yet.

He was really running out of stamina and power here.

"I'm not---beat--yet!"he breathed.
"Think again."said Ken.

The Shotokan then jumped at Balrog and did another powerful attack.

"SHORYREPPA!"

Ken slammed and punched Balrog with a barrage attack of Dragon Punches and then ended it with another flaming punch that sent the boxer flying into the pavement with a loud thud.

Balrog was down for the count.

Back on the screen back at the tournament,the vid screen displayed Ken as the winner!

"KEN WINS SUPREME FINALS MATCH ONE!"said Cho.
The crowd applauded his efforts.

"So.."said Bison. "..he seems to be as powerful as Ryu eh?
He should serve an interesting first example for my killer clones."

"Send a word to your boss if ya get back,Balrog."said Ken. "Tell him this--NO ONE MESSES WITH ME OR MY FRIENDS WITHOUT PAYING FOR IT! AND THAT MEANS THAT YOUR MAN BISON--IS GOING DOWN!"

Ken then headed back to the airport.

And at that very same moment,another gruseome and exciting battle was about to take place,in Spain!
