The last of the grand finals was about to start with a battle of flame weilders,Ken Masters and Dhalsim.

The plane arrived in Dhalsim's country of India.
Dhalsim knew of a temple place where elephants rested.

Ken nodded and the final pair went to that area.

Once there,Dhalsim stood out in the middle of the temple room floor and took up his position,and Ken did the same.

"You do know,whoever wins this final match shall be the one to fight Bison and his henchman."said Dhalsim.
"You know about that huh?"said Ken. "Before we fight,what's your reason to fight in this contest?"

"I fight---for my country,my people and my family---to help them in need."said Dhalsim.
"Pretty noble cause there."said Ken. "But i'm fighting to stop this Bison nut so the attacks on myself and my friends will stop!"

"Yes,Bison and Shadaloo must be eliminated at once."said Dhalsim. "But to do that,one of us must win this match."
"My thoughts exactly,Yoga-man...and may the best fighter win!"

"Yes."said Dhalsim.

The match began as Ken sprinted forward,did a roll forward as well and was directly in front of the monk.
But just as he launced his Dragon Punch,the monk vanished.

"Wha-?"said Ken as his fist ran through air.
"Where'd he--?"

Suddenly,Dhalsim re-appeared behind him and fired a Yoga flame at him.
Ken turned around just to see the projectile hit him in the chest and knocked him to the ground.
 

"HEY!"said Ken.
"Just doing what it takes to win."said Dhalsim.
"I'll bet."said Ken as he got back up.

Dhalsim then thrust at Ken and did a flying drill attack,Ken ducked it and he landed safely nest to him.
The monk then thrust out both of his arms in a double fist punch.
Ken blocked it and then thrust at him with a spin kick,Dhalsim disappeared again and re-appeared next to him.

Just as Ken turned to see him,Dhalsim slammed a high kick into his face.

Ken staggered backwards and rubbed at his face.
"Man,this guy's crazy magic tricks are gonna take me out before the match even starts.

Ken then took up his fight stance again and Dhalsim then began to teleport all around him.

"You are a brave fighter."he said. "But you must learn to better appreciate the great power of the chi within."
"Oh...I apprecaite it all right."said Ken.
Suddenly,just as Dhalsim re-appered next to him,Ken struck.

"SHORYUKEN!"
He slammed Dhalsim in gthe chin with a hard and fast Dragon Punch that sent him to the floor,hard!

"So much that I use in the most explosive way."said Ken.
Dhalsim got back up again and fired another Yoga Flame at it,blowing it away.

The monk then teleported again and then re-appeared doing a drill attack with his head this time.
Ken saw another opening and launched another Draon Punch,knocking him out the air.

Dhalsim landed again on the floor and just as he got back up,he saw Ken come straight at him with a fiery Dragon Punch that sent the Yoga Master skidding across the floor.

Dhalsim crashed up against the wall and was out momentarilly.

"ALLRIGHHT!"said Ken as he raised a fist in the air and did a V sign with his fingers.
"VICTORY!"

On the screen it shown Ken as the winner.
"Well i'll be."said Steve the Grey Wolf. "He did it."

"I thought he would."said Ryu.
"You've really got some competition there in the Shotokan department."said Li.
"Maybe."said Ryu. "But now we know who will stop Bison in the end..and it's the three of us."
"Yes,as it should be."said Li.

Dhalsim got up from the spot he fell and approached him.
He then bowed to Ken with honor,and Ken did the same.

"It would seem that even I still have much to learn about the chi."he said. "But I will still fight to help my people."
"As will I,for my loved ones."said Ken. "It was a good match,and I hope to fight you again as well."
"Yes,good luck to you as well Ken."said Dhalsim.

"Thanks,see you again!"said Ken as he ran off.

"So..."said Vega. "...we now know who the final competition is,eh,senior Bison?"said Vega.
"Indeed we do."said Bison. "This is getting more interesting than I had hoped for."
"Ha,they ain't no big deal...we beat some of 'em before..this time we'll murder'em!"said Balrog.

"That's the spirit,Balrog."said Bison. "WIth your newly recharged abilites under my Pyscho Power,the three of them shall fall before my power! Come to me,Street Fighters--M.Bison is waiting for you!"

The plane took Ken back to the tournament,where the supreme finals were set to begin.
