Back in Tokyo,Ryu helped Honda up.

"You okay,sumo?"said Ryu.

Honda rubbed at the back of his head and brushed himself off.

"About as well as can be expected."he said. "Looks like you're the first one to win after all,Ryu."

"I guess so."said Ryu. "I didn't think it'd be so soon."
"You were always the best there was in Japan."said Honda. "And hopefully you'll be the one to beat the ass of that Bison man!
But just remember...i'll be training twice as hard as you,so watch out the next time we fight."

"I will,take care now."said Ryu.

The two Japanese bowed to each other and Ryu took off out through the back door.

Honda meanwhile,removed his sumo garments and took a nice hot bath.

Ryu then got back on the plane and was taken back to where the rest of the tournament was.

While back at the tournament site in Thailand...

Ken and Guile prepared to board the plane.

"Be careful,Ken."Li said to him. "After seeing this Guile fellow in action,he must pack a pretty hard punch."
"Hey,us special forces always do,luv."said Cammy.

"Well,he's about to learn firsthand the real power of Shotokan."said Ken. "Tell Ryu where I went to,and i'll be back soon."

"Correction,you'll try to be back soon."said Guile as he boarded the plane.

Ken smirked and boarded the plane with him.

"It's the battle of the hot-shots I see."said Fei.
"Having an ego is never a good thing for a warrior to have."said Dhalsim.
"Yes,it can bring even the mightiest of fighters down."said Blanka.

"We'll just have to wait and see then,who's greater."said Fei.

The plane took both Ken and Guile to their own homeland,North America and were taken to San Fransisco where their boating bays and docks were located.

The plane landed nearby and both men raced to the nearest dock to fight.

They found one where a few yachts were parked nearby and a part was going on.

"This looks like a good a place as any to fight."said Ken.
"If you say so."said Guile. "I'd rather be fighting back at my Air Force Base,but no matter."

"I also gotta admit Ken,even if you were a pretty boy movie star,you always were pretty good..but i'm here to show you who's got the real power and strength."

"I suppose it's gonna be you,eh soldier boy?"said Ken. "Well let's just see who's greater!"

The match began as Guile made the first move as he threw his fists forward and threw his fmaed projectile.

"SONIC BOOM!"

Ken jumped over the fireball,landed on his feet and came right at Guile.

He thrust his first punch,but Guile blocked it off and then thrust at Ken with a Bazooka Knee.

Ken was hit real hard in the chest and nearly fell over,but he kept his ground and his defense.
Guile then did a backfist,but Ken ducked it and slammed a hard Shoryuken into Guile's chin.

The soldier was lifted a foot into the air from Ken's blow and fell onto his back on the hard floor of the dock.

"Ha,beat that!"said Ken.

Guile jumped back to his feet and rubbed his chin.
"Not bad so far."he said. "But you ain't seen nothin'yet!"

"Well,show me then,brush head!"said Ken. "Cause I got moves to spare!"

The pair continued their bout as they collided with each other in a flurry of blows.

Ken thrust with a spin kick,but Guile ducked it and then slammed a high kick into Ken's back.

Guile then did a spin kick of his own,but Ken blocked it off and then tripped him with a leg sweep.
Guile managed to jump back to his feet again and continued with the assault.

Ken thrust several punches at Guile,slamming him in the chest and head,but Guile caught his right fist and slammed three hard punches into Ken's side and then threw him over his shoulder.

Ken,fortunately was very agile with his own moves,and managed to land on his feet.

He then jumped at Guile and was ready to do some real damage,but before he could do so,Guile saw an opening and did another of his furious attacks.

"FLASH KICK!"

Guile slammed Ken in the chest and chin with his dangerous somemrsault kick.

Ken fell back to the floor and groaned in sheer pain.

"Had enough,junior?"said Guile.

Ken got back up.
"NOT ON YOUR LIFE!"he said.

Guile was about to do another Sonic Boom,but Ken saw his chance and then did a roll forward move.
He rolled past Guile and was directly behind him.

"Huh?"said Guile as he turned to see what he was doing.

The last thing that Guile saw was...Ken unleashing his most powerful Dragon Punch--THE FIERY SHORYUKEN!

Guile was hit once again in the chin hard and fast by the blow,and his entire body was caught on fire.
But once he landed on the pavement,the flames went out and he was unconsious for the moment.

Ken was the second to win the finals.

On the screen,it said:KEN WINS FINALS 02!

"Alright Ken!"said Dee Jay. "You go mon!"
"He did it!"said Li.
"I knew he could do it."said Ryu who had recently got back.
"Hmm...a shame really."said Cammy. "Guile was kinda cute too."

Guile groaned and got back up again.
"Looks like--I underestimated your power there,Ken."he said.

"That can happen to anyone when least expecting it."said Ken. "Ya see,after my recent near death battles against Balrog and Sagat,I realized I was a bit slacked off about my skills,and thanks to my recent battle with the Grey Wolf,I think I finally reached back to what I was--a strong and confident warrior."

"You're definitely both Ken."said Guile. "But just you wait till the other finalists battle it out with you. I see they're pretty wicked as well."

"I'm ready for anything,Guile."said Ken. "But i'm sorry you're not gonna be around to take out that Bison clown."
"Oh,i'll be there all right."said Guile. "One way or the other,and we're gonna take Bison down or die trying. Your main concern is getting back to the tournament."

"Right."said Ken. "See you there."

Ken bowed and Guile saluted him.

"There goes a brave soul."said Guile.

While back at the Shadaloo HQ..

"Hmmm...it seems that Ken Masters has made quite a comeback after our little--excersion with him."said Bison.

"Man,that Dragon Punch of his is a lot more packed than I thought."said Balrog.

Vega chuckled.
"Scared or intimidated right now,Balrog?"he asked.

"Hell,no!"said the boxer. "If I get to have a re-match with Masters there,i'll show 'em a thing or two about punching and whoopin'! And no matter who I face,they ain't getting past me."

"We shall see soon enough,Balrog."said Bison. "When the finalists are down to three."

Mr Cho called for the next two contestants.

"NEXT MATCH:CHUN-LI VS FEI LONG!"

Li and her old friend were the next to be suprised to fight it out with each other.
