The preparations for the tournament continued as the Street Fighters continued their training for it.

While at that exact same moment,Guile and a group of special forces ops were busy at work with a busting operation. And the busting had to do with Shadaloo themselves and was in Ryu's homeland of Japan.

The air harrier arrived at the local american military base stationed in Okinawa.
"This is definitely a lucky break!"said Guile. "Just a few days after meeting face to face with the master of Shadaloo they managed to get a lead on a warehouse containing their illegal materials,and it was taking place in Tokyo itself!

While in the city of Tokyo,Ryu and Honda were walking about and checking out the sights as well as getting some R&R.
"Do you really think this is a good idea,Honda?"said Ryu. "We really should be getting some more training in you know."

"Aw,we've been doing that for three days straight Ryu."said Honda. "Ya gotta learn to loosen up every now and again,and besides that,it's not good to train on an empty stomach ya know."

"I know."said Ryu. "Ken used to say the exact same thing to me when we used to train.That I took things way too seriously back then."
"Well,that's what i'm here for,old buddy."said Honda. "To make sure you don't get to be too much of a stiff."
"I guess so."said Ryu grinning.

The pair then came upon a local sushi bar and restuarant called the Iron Gong.
"Hey,this place looks pretty good."said the Sumo. "Let's grab a bite!"

The two fighters then enter the restuarant while a Kabuki performer from across the street sees them both go in.
He quietly speaks into his communicator.
"Lord Bison,"he says. "Ryu himself has arrived in town."
"Excellent."said Bison on the receiver. "I shall instruct our Japan agents to abdust him,stand by."
"Yes sir."said the Shadaloo agent.

While out on the outskirts of the city at a local factory warehouse,Guile and the special strike team he was assigned arrived at the starting point.

They arrived in a green camoflaogue carrier truck and got out from the back,armed with M-16's that were equipped with grenade launchers.

"Alright men!"said Guile adressing the team. "Are you ready to kick some Shadaloo ass?"
"Just point us in the right direction,captain."said one of the men.
"Okay then."said Guile. "LET'S GO!"

The group of soldiers ran straight for the front doors and Guile led the way by landing a large stab kick at the doors,knocking them open.

"FREEZE!"shouted the soldiers as they aimed their weapons.
Sure enough,they saw a group of Shadaloo agents,dressed in red coveralls with black caps were about to place the last of their goods onto a few trucks.
"NO!"said the lead agent. "We've been spotted!"
"Take'im out!"said Guile.

The desolate grounds of the building suddenly became a shoot-out as both military and Shadaloo agents fired away at each other.
Guile ran towards one of the trucks and prepared to fire at them in his way.
"SONIC BOOM!"

He threw a sonic fireball and caused the side of the truck to explode.
One of the smugglers ran at Guile and pulled out a switchblade.

Guile handchopped the blade out of the man's hand and then did a Backfist into his head,knocking him out.
Once the shooting was over,most of the Shadaloo agents were down on the ground dead while the remainder of them surrendered.

The lead sargent went up to Guile to inform his situation.
"Perimiter secure sir!"he said saluting him. "We've taken out the agents they had on hand."
"Good to hear."said Guile. "Keep these squirts under lock and key,i'm gonna see where the rest of the rats are hiding if any."
"Yes sir!"said the sargent.

Guile ran down a corridor to see if there was anyone else standing by with any more Shadaloo operations.
Suddenly,he heard muffled voices and engine hummings in a nearby door.
The air force captain carefully crept up to the door and then slammed his best foot forward.

Inside,he found a built-in computer techno croom with monitors and other machines plugged in that were up and running.
And in front of a main screen were three lab coated technicians.

"STOP!"said Guile pointing at them all. "YOU'RE ALL UNDER ARREST!"
One of the men begin to draw out a magnum,but before he could fire,Guile flung another Sonic Boom and slammed all three goons at once.

"Told ya to stop."he said as he walked over to the screen.
Upon the video screen in front of him,was a picture of Ryu himself.
"Ryu...?"said Guile.

The solider looked at the info typed in beside the pic of Ryu and saw what was about to happen.
It was going to be a final kidnapping attempt to get Ryu Hoshi!

"NO!"said Guile. "He's at it again!"
Guile then raced out of the room and ran back to the truck.
"Hey,cap!"said the sargant. "What are ya doing with the truck?"
"No time to explain sarge!"said Guile. "Something's come up,just keep a leash on those Shadaloo goons till I get back!"
"Yes sir!"said the sarge.
 

Guile revved up the motor and took off out onto the highway.
"Please be all right,Ryu!"he thought. "If Bison gets ahold of you,we'll lose before we even start!"

While back at the Iron Gong restaurant...

Ryu and Honda sat at one the tables and ate thier food.

Ryu just had a tempura and rice with drink while Honda had several plates of delicious platters containing sushi lobster,egg rolls and tea.
"Got enough to eat,big guy?"said Ryu.
Honda chewed and swallowed his food.
"A sumo like me must keep his weight at a regular size."he said between bites.
Ryu chuckled.

Just then,a beautiful japanese woman dressed as a geisha came in through a side door and danced in the middle of the room.
"Ah,entertainment!"said Honda. "And a good one at that!"
"Hm?"said Ryu looking over at the geisha.

She wore a red and black kimono and her long black hair was placed up in large buns of the geisha style and her face was a chalk white and her lips a ruby red,and her slender arms weilded a bright yellow fan as she moved about.

Suddenly,when anyone least suspected it,the geisha flung towards Ryu and Honda's table and flung her left foot out,smashing the table in half.
"KRASSH!"
"HEY,THAT WAS MY LUNCH!"roared Honda.
The geisha said nothing and then slammed a backfist into the Sumo's face,knocking him down.

"What's going on here?"said Ryu.
The geisha then swung another kick,this time at Ryu.

Ryu saw it coming,ducked it and then slammed a spin kick to the woman's side,causing her to crash into a tea tray.
"HEY!"said the manager as he came storming in. "What's going on here?"

The geisha then ripped off her kimono,revealling a chrome body of metal and steel that wasn't human at all.
It also had the symbol of Shadaloo on it's chest.

"Shadaloo--again?"said Ryu.
The robot swung out it's right arm and began to shoot gunfire all over the room.
"AHHH--RUNN!"screamed several of the restaurant patrons as they ran out of the restuarant.

Ryu tried to make a break for it,but was grabbed by the back of his collar and then threw against the wall.

The robot stood menacingly in front of him,and a voice suddenly spoke from it's chest.
"Nice to see you again so soon,Ryu."
It was M.Bison's voice.
"B-Bison?"said Ryu. "You again?"

"Yes,sorry to interrupt your meal there,"said Bison. "but I will not wait to have your power added to my own for the tournament. I shall have you delivered to me---TODAY!"
"NEVER!"said Ryu.

The Shotokan then slammed a fist into the robot's head.
"AH!"replied Ryu as he pulled back his fist and gripped it in pain.
The robot then grabbed Ryu again and threw him into a table booth.

"This thing's not human,and can't be punched like an oppoenent."he thought.
"I've gotta find a way to match it,or i'm done for!"

The robot skulked towards Ryu and attempted to grab him again.
Ryu then jumped up from the booth and then jumped over to a tray containing a hot water teapot.

The robot then lunged at Ryu,but before it could nab him he swung the teapot into the robot's head,smashing it's sensor vision.
"KRAKK!"

The robot jerked wildly and then began to fire it's built-in machine gun all over the place.

Ryu dove behind a cloth covered table.
"I've gotta stop that as well before it gets Honda!"he said.

Ryu then picked up the table and then thrust it at the mechanoid,causing it to fall to the floor.
Once it was down,Ryu grabbed the robot's left hand and pulled at with all his might.

"KRRAAAKKKKLLE!"
The gun hand broke off and Ryu threw it across the floor.

The robot then smashed through the table and swung it's damaged arms about.
"Time to end this farce!"said Ryu.

"SHINNKKUU--HADOUKEN!"
Ryu threw a super charged fireball at the robot.

"BOOM!"
The impact was so great,the robot exploded into a million metal pieces.

Honda then woke up just in time.
"Uh--what?"he said rubbing his head. "Did I--miss something?"

"Not much."said Ryu as he helped his friend up.

"RYU!"said another voice calling for him.
Entering the restaurant was Capt.Guile himself.

"Guile..?"said Ryu. "You're here as well?"
"I--was in the neighborhood so to speak."he said and looked around the room.
"I'm here to tell you,a kidnapping attempt was made out on you but----"

"I--think I got the message."said Ryu.

While back at the Shadaloo HQ,Bison was deeply annoyed.
"DAMN!"he said as he slammed his fist down on the control panel.
"That mechanoid was fullproof! Well then---it seems kidnapping Ryu indirectly will not suffice. I must lure him and others to the tournament and once he's in range,then I shall pluck him where he stands!"

He then turned to the communications system and called up one of his underlings.
"This is Bison,tell the tournament organizer to move all plans forward by 0800 hours,that is all."

Bison then looked upon the screen and saw the image of Ryu Hoshi as well as other Street Fighters he planned to capture and use for his own goals.
"Soon,very soon now--HAHAHAHA!"
