STREET FIGHTER THE LOST SAGA!
CH.FOUR:CAT AND MOUSE!

Ryu,Chun-Li and Honda continud their way through the city to search for anything on Ken or Balrog,suddenly,they saw a white limo drive past them.

“Waitaminute!”said Li.”Some of the eye-witnesses said they saw the whole thing occur near a sort of white limo. And a black guy was in it—maybe that was Balrog.”

“Maybe,”said Ryu. “but what if it isn’t?”
“One way to find out.”said Chun-Li. “I’ll go scout out the limo,you two stay here while I do it.”
“Okay,but be careful.”said Ryu.

While Li went off to find the limo,Ryu and Honda waited on the corner and kept an eye out for anything suspicious.

Just then,a bus stopped around the next corner,and the monk Tung-Lo got off.
He then spotted both Ryu and Honda.
“I don’t believe it!”he said. “They were right when I heard Ryu was heading to america! Now…I can finally prove my strength and ability against the Street Fighter champion!”

Tung went off to a nearby alley to change into his fighting togs.
Li meanwhile saw the limo pull up near a parking garage and entered it.
The chinese then proceeded with care and sneaked inside to see who or what was in the limo.

When she got there,she found that it was not Balrog,but some military green garbed soldier in red beret with a couple of black-suited goons armed with uzzis.

He then took out his portable phone and called someone on it.
“Hello…Balrog…?”said the man in red beret.
“Balrog?”thought Chun-Li as she watched from the shadows.

“It’s me Duke—we just spotted Ryu and Chun-Li on the corner,hopefully they didn’t see us as we drove past. Yes sir,we’ll capture them without harm,I promise you that. Okay see you there…”

Duke then placed his mobile phone away and adressed his two men.
“Okay boys…”he said. “…we got street fighters to hunt and bring to the boss.”
“I’d better get back with Ryu and the others.”she thought. “And be ready for these clowns!”

Li then ran off to find Ryu and Honda.
Suddenly,she accidentally tripped over a discarded muffler and fell to the floor.
“Hey—what’s that?”said Duke.
The trio of gunmen rushed over to see if someone was there.

Li ran off just as they saw her.
“It’s her—it’s Chun-Li!”said one of the thugs.
“Easy pickin’---after her!”said Duke.

Chun-Li ran out of the garage as fast as she could with the three gunmen hot on her heels.

WHILE IN THE SAME AREA WHERE KEN WAS ATTACKED..

Fei Long and Dee Jay had arrived at the same area,but they found that the police were there,still searching for clues themselves.

“I don’t think it’d be a good idea to ask them right now.”said Fei. “They might suspect us of something.”
“Well,where are we gonna look if we can’t start here?”said Dee Jay.

“You can look by sensing the awareness and chi of other fighters.”said a voice behind them.
“Who…?”said Dee Jay.
Emerging from the shadows was…Dhalsim himself.

“Who da heck are you mon?”said DJ. “Voodoo priest from da festival of dead?”
“He’s Dhalsim.”said Fei. “I fought with him once at the last Street Fighter tournament and learned about some of the more fiery arts of fighter’s ki.”

Dhalsim and Fei bowed to each other.
“It is good to see you again master Dhalsim.”said Fei. “What brings you to the cityof angels?”
“The same thing you and your companion do Fei Long.”he said. “The disappearance of Ken Masters. I also sense the dark hand of a very evil individual who devised this….M.Bison!”

“Did you say Bison?”said Fei.
“Who be Bison mon?”said DJ.
“You’re lucky you haven’t heard of the master of Shadaloo let alone them DJ.”said Fei.
“Bison is a mysterious and evil crime lord who has been heard in crime’s inner circles. Even I had a few run-ins with their kind back in Hong Kong. They trade in just about everything that’s illegal.”

“Bad news huh?’said DJ. “Well,it ain’t nothin’the DJ can’t handle!”
“You have great spirits my friends.”said Dhalsim. “But beware of what you don’t understand.”
“And you say you can try to sense a fighter’s ki Dhalsim?”said Fei. “If so,maybe you can help us find Ken.”

Dhalsim reached both of his arms out into the air and inner surges of power began to flow through him and his eyes glowed a bright yellow.

“What’s he doin’mon?”said DJ.
“I saw him do this once before.”said Fei. “He uses this technique to scan the air for different ki’s belonging to fighters. Maybe…this trick will help us find Ken..as well as the scumbags who attacked him.”

After a whole minute,Dhalsim had lowered his arms and head and was silent.
“Well…did you find anything?”said Fei.

Dhalsim raised his head and opened his eyes.
“Nothing I’m afraid.”he said. “Ken may either be unconscious,away or….”
“No…he can’t be dead!”said Fei. “I’ve met and fought with him,he’s made of much more stronger stuff than anything!”
“Yeah,Ken may just be at the beach under a dock or something.”said DJ.

“We may have to begin our search if we are to be sure.”said Dhalsim.
“Then let’s go!”said Fei.
The trio of fighters then ran off for their next destination.

But uknown to them was a Shadaloo operative in a dark hat and trenchcoat who overheard the whole thing.
“Calling agent Zacko.”he said into his mobile phone. “Report to 5th street at once.”

While back around where Ryu and Honda were,Chun-Li made it back to her friends.
“Ryu—Honda!”she said.
“Did you find anything?”said Ryu.

“I did—but they found me!”said Chun-Li. “They’re shadaloo thugs—and they’re armed—we’ve gotta run NOW!”

The trio then made a run for it,but just as they were,someone jumped out in front of them.
“STOP!”he shouted.
The man in question was a bald monk dressed in Shaolin fighting togs of green and white along with a green headband and green sash over his shoulder. It was Tung-Lo dressed for street fighting.

“Who the hell…?”said Ryu.
“Ah,Chun-Li as well.”said Tung Lo. “Now I can face and defeat twice as many greats in one day!”
“Are—are you a Shaolin monk?”said Chun-Li.
“I’m dressed like on are I not?”said Tung-Lo. “Allow me to introduce myself,I am Tung-Lo Shen,master warrior monk from China,and I have travelled across many lands to face not only the great Ryu Hoshi….but other fighters who are as great as he---like you Chun-Li.”

“Oh boy—we got a comedian here.”said Honda.
“Silence fat fool!”said Tung-Lo. “I will not be denied this opportunity!”

“Well I’m afraid you’ll have to!”said Ryu. “Because you caught us at a really bad time—c’mon!”

The trio ran off just as the other trio of gunmen came running after him.

“AFTER’EM!”said Duke.
“ONE SIDE BALDY!”said one of the thugs as he pushed Tung aside.
“Unnf—how dare he do that!”said Tung. “Well,I am not going to let common criminals stop me from facing the greats from the street fighter circuit!”

Tung then ran off after the three thugs as well and it looked like one chase was on after another.

LOCAL SHOPPING CENTER NEAR THE BEACHES…

Guile,Cammy and T.Hawk had devised a plan to lure Balrog and his goons so they could capture them.
Guile was near a restroom stall,Cammy was hiding behind a bench and Hawk himself had planted himself on a nearby rooftop of a store so he could get a good bird’s eye view of who was going to come.

Balrog and his group of thugs had arrived in the shopping center,sure enough there were many people there.
“Man,I wish they’d do their shopping someplace else!”said Balrog.
“Should we just shoot anyone who gets in our way boss if we find those three heroes?”said one of the thugs.
“No you idiot!”said Balrog. “We might upset any security here and things’ll really get ugly! We gotta approach this carefully,like hunters. And if you do find’em…then shoot---and run like hell back to the jeep—got it?”

“Yeah,we got it.”said another of the thugs.
“Okay then,you two go to the left,you two to the right,you both—with me.”said Balrog. “And be on the lookout for anything!”

The group of thugs then made their way into the center.

The first two thugs from the left walked across a center with restroom stalls and vending machines.
Guile then saw the two thugs and stayed hidden in the door,charging his Sonic Boom for the incoming action that would soon follow.

“Yo—look in that men’s room stall in there.”said the thug on the right. “I’ll look over there in the bushes.”
“Right.”said the other thug.

The thug slowly and cautiously entered the stall,his weapon drawn.
When he got there,it looked empty.
He then went over to the toilet stalls and cautiously kicked each one open.

After he kicked open the last one,he found no one was there.
But when he turned around,the last thing he saw was Guile flinging his Sonic Boom,knocking him out cold.

After that,Guile dragged the unconscious thug and approached the other thug was ruffling through the bushes.

“Looking for something?”said Guile.
The thug turned around to see Guile standing before him in fighting stance.
“Hey thanks pal!”said the thug as he drew his weapon. “You just made my work a whole lot easier!”

Guile then dove behind a soft drink machine just as the thug opened fire.
Guile then ran up behind another soda machine and the thug ran up in front of a snack vending machine.

Guile then went for it,he shouted:”SONIC BOOM!”and he flung another famed double fireball from both of his fierce fists.
The thug dove for the ground and the fireball hit the vending machine,causing it to explode!

The thug got back up and saw the shattered open machine,thinking that could’ve been him.

He then turned his attention back to Guile,just as he saw the soldier came right at him,doing a fast and fierce roundhouse kick on him,knocking his gun out of his hand!

Guile then did his Flash Kick and knocked the thug right in the chin!
The gunman fell to the ground and was as out cold as his partner Guile did away with earlier.

“You guys get distacted too easily!”he said shaking his head.

In another part of the center,Cammy saw the next two men make their way towards where she was,in front of a woman’s clothing store.

Cammy then decided to attract the attention of the two men.
“Yoooo-hoooooo!”sang Cammy as she waved to the two men.
“Hey,it’s her!”said the thug on the right.
“Yeah,now it’s a dead her!”said the thug on the left as he drew his gun.

Cammy bolted into the store before he could open fire.
“DAMN!”he said. “AFTER HER!”

The two thugs ran into the store.
There,they found rows and racks of colorful womenwear and a few women shopping for them.
“You take the left,I’ll take the right.”said one of the thugs.

Cammy carefully crawled underneath through the rows of women’s clothes like she was burrowing through a trench.

She then saw one of the two thugs creeping up,and grabbed ahold of the nearest thing she could find,a bottle of hair conditioner.

She shook it up and jumped out in front of the thug.
“THINK FAST,MATE!”she said and sprayed the conditioner at full throttle in the man’s face!

“BLLAAAGHH!”replied the man as his entire face was spray covered in white goop.

He then staggered back,which gave Cammy the chance to do a cannon drill move and knocked him to the floor.

“Beat that.”she said.

The thug was down,but he was far from out as he whipped out his uzzi pistol and fired wildly everywhere.

“WHOA!”said Cammy as she dove for cover.
“EEEEK!”replied several women shopping and working there as they fled in terror.

“What the hell’s going on over there?”said the second thug.

Cammy then ran across through the other row isles of clothes and saw the second thug.
“Gotcha in my sights pig-tails!”he said as he aimed his gun.

Cammy then dove for the floor and slid across it just as he fired.

The commando then ran up into the fitting rooms and hid in one of them.
The thug himself saw where she went and carefully proceeded towards the door.

“You can run but can’t hide as they always say.”he thought to himself.
He listened for any movements and heard a couple of feet rustling.
“Ha—GOTCHA!”said the thug as he pulled the nearest door open.

But instead of finding Cammy,he found a women changing her clothes.
“AAAAAAHH---PERVERT!”shouted the woman as she threw a blouse in his face and slammed the door.

“Hey!”said the thug as he pulled the blouse off his head. “Stupid broads---“
“Watch what ya say about us women pal!”said Cammy as she thrust at the thug.

She launched into her cannon spike flip kick,literally knocking the thug on the chin,causing him to fall backwards and crash into a wall—he was out cold.

“One down and---.”began Cammy.
“And you’re gonna go babe!”said the second thug as he appeared around the corner,his weapon drawn.
This time,Cammy was stuck.

But suddenly,the second door the thug was in front of slammed into his face and out came the same woman who was changing fully dressed.

“Honestly---you can’t even shop anymore without having some pervert come along and peep at you!”she said as she exited the store.

The thug nearly fell over,but Cammy decided to oblidge as she sprinted forward and did her Spin-drive smasher.

A spin kick in the stomach and then to the chin caused the gunman to join his twin on the floor,they were both out.

“That’s that!”she said. “I wonder how Guile and the injun are doing?”

Not too far away,the native american warrior himself was about to prey upon those that were preying on them.
He saw the next two thugs walking his way,and without another thought he jumped into the air and swooped down from the roof with his arms out.

“HEY---LOOKOUT!”shouted the second thug.
The two gunmen ducked down just as Hawk flew right over them.
“DAMN!”he thought. “Missed’em by just an inch!”

Hawk then regained his footing and took off.
“After’im!”said the second thug and they were off.

Hawk saw a local video arcade and ran inside.
The two gunmen came upon the arcade and ran inside as well.

“I think I saw’im run in here!”said the first thug.
“Maybe,”said the second thug. “but what if he isn’t?”


As if on cue,Hawk stuck his head out and waved hi to the two thugs.
“There he is!”said the second thug,and the two gunemen fired away.

Hawk ducked right back behind the corner and near a video game cabinet that had the word CAPCOM USA on it.
“Good thing no kids are in here right now,”he thought. “or there’d be trouble!”
The two thugs ran around to where the corner was,but as they got there,he was gone.

“Man,how can anyone so big move so fast?”said the first thug.
“Kinda like this!”said Hawk as he swooped down from the ceiling light fixture and collided with both of his arms into the gunman,knocking him to the floor!

But as Hawk got back on his feet,he forgot the second goon.
“Nice try pal.”he said. “But ya still got me---adios amigo!”

But before he could do his deed,the video game manager came up behind the thug and threw a waste paper basket right overtop him,literally trapping him in the wire built basket!

“HEY—WHAT TH---?!”he cried in response.
Hawk saw his chance and did a flying shoulder ram into him,knocking him down and out cold.
“Thanks pal.”Hawk said to the plump man in glasses who gave him a thumb up.”If ya don’t mind,report these hoods to the police—I gotta get somewhere.”

Finally at last,only Balrog and the remaining two gunmen were with him and the three came across a large water fountain in the middle of center square.

“Man—where could those three snoopers be?”said the boxer in frustration. “We’ve been searching for nearly a half-hour now!”

“Looking for us?”said a voice behind the trio of goons.
Balrog and his hit team saw Guile,Cammy and T.Hawk standing before them.

“Hey---what—what about the rest of my men?”said Balrog.
“Oh…they’re cooling their heels right now---ice cold that is.”said Cammy grinning.
“And you bucko,are next!”said Guile pointing his finger at the accused.

“Smoke’im boys!”said Balrog.
The two last gumen was about to fire their guns,but before they could,Guile flung another Sonic Boom this time at the very ground the trio stood on.

“BOOM-SKRAKK!”
Concrete and smoke erupted in front of them,blinding them all momentarilly.

“NOW!”said Guile and the trio attacked.
Cammy sprung into action and did another Cannon Drill on the first gunmen,knocking him to the ground.
Hawk jumped up at the second thug and did a flying shoulder ram into the second gunmen,causing him to be the next to be unconscious.

Only Balrog himself remained.
Guile stood before the boxer.
“You were ready for Ken Bally.”he said. “But are you ready for Guile?”

Balrog snarled and threw his gun down,he was gonna fight the real way or go down trying!
“I been wantin’to take a piece of ya as well Guile!”he said. “Now’s my chance!”

“You sure...?”said Guile. “You got a pretty busted up shoulder there,Ken must’ve gave you quite a clean-up a couple of days ago!”

“GRRRRR---I CAN STILL WHUP YO ASS,GUILE!”shouted Balrog. “AND I WILL!”
Balrog in a crazed fury thrust at Guile,doing his dashing punch straight.

Guile simply dodged it and grabbed Balrog by the wrist,and once he did,he brought Balrog right over his shoulder and crashed him to the ground—WHUMP!

“That…was easy.”said Cammy. “I hear Balrog’s a pretty fierce boxer.”
“His right shoulder is injured by the looks of it.”said Guile. “If he was completely healed---I’d have a pretty big fight on my hands—but I think I could’ve handled it.”

Balrog lay upon the ground groaning in pain.
Guile then grabbed him by the collar of his blue tank top shirt.
“Okay Shadaloo scum!”he said. “You either tell us where your big bad boss is---or I’m gonna do worse to you than what we did to your would-be hit squad!”

“You ain’t get nothin’outta me!”said Balrog. “My loyalties is with Bison---so threaten me all ya want!”
“You may want to re-think your words there,Balrog.”said Hawk. “From what I’ve seen and heard—Bison is not a man you want to trust your life in.”

“That’s a tried and true fact.”thought Cammy.
“So you say—but the answers still nada!”said Balrog.

Guile then brought Balrog up and dragged him over to his two teammates.
“At least we got a major player from Shadaloo right now.”said Guile. “But could you at least tell us if you did something with Ken’s body other than injuring him?”

“That I can do---but it ain’t gonna do much good…cause we don’t know what happened to his body after that. He just…up and walked away. Kinda strange he’d do that—after we scalped him—heh-heh…”

“Y-you scalped him?”said Cammy.
“Yeah…but I’m sure the injun man there would’ve related to that eh jeronimo---kill da white man,hahaha!”laughed Balrog.

Hawk growled fiercly and then grabbed the boxer by the throat and lifted him upward.
“You son of a----!”he began.
“No Hawk—NO!”said Guile as he grabbed onto his arm. “Believe it or not---we need him alive right now!”

Hawk regained his composure and dropped Balrog down.
“Y-you crazy bastards----Bison is gonna kill ya’ll!”he said.
“We’ll see Balrog.”said Guile. “Just be thankful we didn’t let our pal here kill you!”

Minutes later,the would-be killers were handed over to the police and Guile and the others watched them off.
“I’m afraid no matter how long it takes,he won’t reveal anything about Shadaloo,Guile.”said Cammy.
“Maybe,”said Guile. “but at least we have a prisoner on our hands from there. Now—if we can just find Ryu and Chun-Li before Shadaloo finds them.”


Meanwhile back across town,Ryu and the others were still being chased by the other set of Shadaloo hunters while DJ,Fei and Dhalsim were about to be pursued by some more of Shadaloo’s worst.

And while that was occuring,Zangief had finally regained conciousness and was off on the hunt again as well as Bael was about to join the game and the ever mysterious shadow warrior was still watching with evil intent,and major dark forces were looming on the horizon involving Bison and Shadaloo.
