"Captain, what are you doing?" ChunLi asked.

"You see, I can't let you take Lord Bison into custody." the captain said with an evil grin.

"Lord Bison?!?!" ChunLi replied in shock.

"That's right ChunLi, you see, Interpol had been working under Shadowlaw for a long time now. We supply Shadowlaw with the latest technology stolen, lent, bought or traded from the United States and they supply us with money. Its a rather prosperous trade agreement. Unfortunately, your father discovered this and was about to inform the United States of the truth. We tried to bargain with him, but in the end he chose his own death." the captain replied.

"So why didn't you kill me while you were at it instead of letting me track and hunt down Bison? Weren't you afraid that I might inform the United States too?" ChunLi asked, still in shock at the truth being revealed.

"Well, we always had you closely monitored and determined that you had no knowledge of our relationship with Shadowlaw. You see, we are always on the look out for some extraordinary talent and you, my dear girl, more than qualify in that category. By letting you hunt down Bison and monitoring your methods, fighting style and analytical prowess, we were testing your usefulness for Shadowlaw. Suffice it to say, we haven't come across someone on par with your qualifications, save Lord Bison. You didn't really think you beat Bison did you? He was merely testing your fighting potential and he has found them adequate to serve his needs. Luckily for you, he was fighting only at 30% of his true power. If he fought with full strength, you would have had no chance." the captain replied.

"30%????" ChunLi replied in shock.

"Perhaps you would want a demonstration of my psycho power my dear girl." Bison replied.

A badly bruised and bloody Bison stood up all of a sudden and his body glowed a purple-ish blue. Within the space of one heart beat, all of his wounds disappeared. He then lifted his left hand and gathered a tremendous amount of psycho power and hurled it at the near by warehouse.

"PSYCHO CANNON"

The warehouse instantly vaporized off the face of the Earth. ChunLi could only tremble in fear after witnessing the amount of power that Bison demonstrated. It made her Kikoshou look like lighter when compared to a Hellfire missile. He then teleported directly in front of ChunLi and Ryu, startled them before teleporting backward to his original position.

"Now you see my true power?" Bison asked, feeling that fear that dominated ChunLi.

"H…How...c...can there be such power?" ChunLi asked, still trembling.

"My psycho drive provides me with this and more. You techniques were nice and fast, but they lacked the power to back them up. You see, both of you are quite useful to me. You are quite resourceful and intelligent, even more so than your father. With your abilities, you would go very far in my organization. As for Ryu, I have other uses for him. So here is my offer to both of you, either you join me, or you die. You have no choice, my agent are everywhere over here in Europe and Asia. You can never escape me. Decide now!" Bison demanded.

"What do you want with me? It seems that you have more than enough power to serve your purpose, what do I have that you want?" Ryu asked.

"Any man who can beat the living tar out of Sagat is a man I want to serve under me. You see, you are the only person who has dominated him. Join me, and I will make you the most powerful warrior on this planet." Bison replied.

"Interesting offer..." Ryu replied.

All of a sudden, Ryu cupped his hand to his side and hurled a fireball towards the captain.

"Hadoken"

The speed at which he was able to gather and focus his chi caught the captain completely off guard. He fired at the fireball before it hit him. The bullets dispersed the projectile with a loud, blinding explosion, blinding the captain. Using this to her advantage, ChunLi flew forward, head over heels.

"Hienjyuu"

ChunLi's left foot came crashing down on the captain's skull, knocking him down. ChunLi then turned her attention to Bison. Unfortunately, it was too late as Bison had sent a huge purple projectile flying towards her. Knowing that her own kikoken would be useless to defend against such a projectile and without enough time to dodge, ChunLi could only swing her arms in front of her in a futile attempt to try to limit the impact. As the deadly projectile sped towards the battered ChunLi, another blue projectile of tremendous power hit and detonated the purple projectile.

"SHINKUU HADOKEN"

Unfortunately, the shear force of the explosion hurled ChunLi to the ground. She remained motionless. Ryu immediately rushed to her side. Feeling a weak pulse he was relieved to find her still breathing. But she needed medical attention as her breathing was getting more shallow.

"Foolish mortals, your pathetic efforts are futile against my psycho power!" Bison boomed.

Lifting the badly battered and bruised ChunLi in his arms, Ryu started to run. He needed to get ChunLi away from the battlefield, he needed to save her life. He had already failed to save someone dear to him once, he would not fail again.

"Ryu, you will obey me!!!!" Bison boomed and with that, Bison levitated above the ground and flew backwards. All of a sudden he accelerated forward with a hell-ish purple flame.

"PSYCHO CRUSHER"

Feeling the tremendous disturbance behind him, Ryu instinctively leapt high into the air and avoid the devastating technique. He then layed ChunLi on the ground and retaliated with his own attack.

"SHINKUU HADOKEN"

A tremendous blue fireball flew after Bison, but the projectile dissipated as it continued to after Bison and eventually vanished as Bison propelled himself ahead of the projectile. Ending the missed technique, Bison turned to face Ryu again, only to find that both ChunLi and Ryu had vanished.

"Very impressive Ryu Hoshi, You will make an excellent new host. Muwahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!" Bison boomed.

Master Gen's apartment...

A fierce knocking came at his door, which awakened the sleeping old man. Though his age was now showed, his health did not suffer from its effects. Opening the door, he was shocked to find Ryu with a barely breathing ChunLi in his arms.

"What happened?" Gen asked in shock.

"I will explain later, we need to tend to ChunLi quickly." Ryu replied.

Laying ChunLi down and setting her in a lotus position, Ryu sat in an identical position behind her and placed both of his hands on her back. Gen sat in front of her, took up both of her hands and held them. The room glowed with a blue light as both men focused their chi into the injured girl in an attempt save her life. Slowly her breathing and pulse picked pace and she was normal again. Regaining consciousness, she started to speak.

"Um..., who....." ChunLi mumbled.

"Shhh..., don't speak, just rest now." Ryu instructed.

"Um..., where am I? Who am I? Who are you?" ChunLi asked...
