"Hey!" A knock came to her door. "Chun Li, open up!"
It was Ken.
"Go away!" Chun Li cried out.
"Aww…come on…it wasn't that bad…let me in."
"NO!"
"If you don't let me in, I'm busting in!" Ken declared.
"Go ahead, it's YOUR house!" Chun Li retorted.
Immediately, the door thudded. Her eyes widened. He was actually trying to break down the door! Chun Li sighed and climbed off her bed. She opened the door and barely had to time to jump aside before Ken barreled in, his shoulder braced to break down the door.
"You Neanderthal!" Chun Li exclaimed as he crashed into the wall.
Ken rubbed his head. "Look, I'm just-"
"Remind me again why I followed this crazy plan of yours?!" Chun Li demanded.
"Cuz you wanted attention. His attention. There's nothing crazy about that."
"I should have known better than to listen to you. I should just try to get his attention my OWN way."
Ken shook his head. "I thought you've tried everything already."
"Forget it. I'm doing this my way."
"But it hasn't worked!"
"I'll try harder," she declared with a stubborn lift of her chin.
Ken rolled his eyes. "I don't think your way will work…"
"Wanna bet?" she challenged.
Ken's eyes widened. "What?"
"We'll keep track. Starting now. If my way works better, then you be my servant for a day. If your way works better, I'll be your servant for a day."
Ken grinned. "Sounds interesting."
"And if neither way works, then we'll split a day…half of the time I'm your servant, the rest, you're mine."
Ken laughed. "I'm in. Always wanted a girl to wait on me hand and foot."
Chun Li rolled her eyes. "But first…there's the matter of…killing you."
His jaw dropped. "What? That's not part of the deal, lady…"
"It doesn't matter. I'm gonna do it anyway."
Chun Li suddenly jumped towards him. Ken screamed and dashed from the room. His calls echoed in the mansion. Chun Li quickly followed him. The noise they made caused such commotion, Ryu pooped his head out of Ken's room.
"What's going on?" Ryu asked.
"Kinda busy!" Ken called over his shoulder.
The servants ducked as they saw the pair running at top speed. Ken and Chun Li jumped over them.
Ryu took off after them. Obviously, Ken did something to anger Chun Li. He didn't know much about women…but when a woman was angry at a man, the man was in deep trouble.
Ken slid down the banister with Chun Li in hot pursuit. Ryu jogged down the stairs. Ken threw open the door to the backyard and tried to slam it in Chun Li's face. She kicked it open and chased after him. Ryu dashed after her, the door wide open.
When Chun Li felt the distance was right, she launched herself in the air, kicking Ken in the head. Ken was knocked out.
Chun Li dusted herself off as Ryu approached.
"What happened?" Ryu asked.
"Nothing," she replied, smiling sweetly.
Ryu kneeled by Ken and seized his shoulders. "Ken. Wake up. Ken!" He shook him slightly.
Ken groaned in pain, feeling a bump the size of three eggs forming on the back of his skull.
Ryu glanced at Chun Li. "Why were you chasing after him?"
Chun Li opened her mouth and shut it again. "I…He said something stupid…but I just realized that what he said makes sense."
"Which is what?" Ryu asked.
Ken was sitting up now, fully awake.
"Well…" Chun Li quickly seized Ryu so that he lay face down in the grass, his rear over her knee. "Ken was saying how I should give you some birthday spanks. But since it was Ken's idea. I think he should give you some too."
Ryu's eyes widened. "Birthday spanks? How come that doesn't sound very pleasant…?"
"I'll start off," Chun Li announced. "It's tradition for the birthday person to get spanked the amount of times equal to his or her age. Okay?" She slapped Ryu's rear. "Okay, that's one. Ken, you go next."
Ken's eyes widened. "What?! I'm not - "
"Fine. I'll just do it myself then," Chun Li cut in.
She certainly took her merry time. By the time she reached the tenth spank, Ryu was a bright shade of red. And she still had fourteen more to go.
"You okay, buddy?" Ken asked.
Ryu glanced at him and stuttered, "Y-Yes…I..I wasn't…aware of such a…an intimate birthday tradtion…"
"Consider yourself lucky…" Ken grinned, ignoring Chun Li's glare.
