The Rematch 3 by

"How is Sagat part of our plan, which I don't know about or agreed to?" asked Akuma, obivuosly ticked.
"It's quite simple, actually. Fill Sagat with your Dark Hadou, making him our slave. Then, we throw him in a fight with Ryu. If Ryu wins, then he should be the perfect canidate for my Psycho Power. Once he is charged with both Dark Hadou and Psycho Power, we could rule the world together!" Bison laughed. Akuma, however, was nothing more than a ticking time bomb.
"YOU FOOLISH IDIOT!!! YOU THINK THE DARK HADOU IS USED JUST FOR CHEAP SCHEMES?!!! HOW DARE YOU!!!!!" Akuma screamed at Bison, his face inches from Bison's. Bison figured if he didn't say something quick, he would be busted.
"Maybe... you could face him!" Bison spat the words. He would figure out how to deal with Akuma later. Akuma slowly sat down back in his chair. He remained silent. Usually, that was Akuma's way of saying: "Oh all right!"
"Just one thing, Bison." Akuma finally replied after the long silence. "Sagat facing Ryu is purely chance." Bison laughed.
"Never fear, Akuma--" Bison stopped as Akuma eyed him strangely. "It's just a saying... Anyway, I have rigged the match to where Ryu faces Sagat at the very end of the fight."
Meanwhile, back down in the arena, everyone was looking at a tall, huge sign that explained who everyone would face.
"I'm going up against... Sakura?" Ryu asked himself, puzzled.
"Oh please... please not Dan, please..." Ken whined. He wanted to face Ryu, but even Ken couldn't always have his way. And everyone knew just how weak Dan was. He was a pussover. This whining between the Street Fighters countinued until everyone was giuded into a "waiting room."

35 minutes later...

The waiting room was basically just like a docotor's waiting room, only without the windows you talk to doctors in. Also, there was a speaker in the top-left corner of the wall, so you could hear when they announced a name.
"I'm getting impatient." Sakura pouted. "I'm ready to fight!" Ryu was sitting quietly in his seat, concentrating. Ken was babbling on and on, as usual.
"And can you believe the winning price? 100,000,000 dollars AND the title of "World's Strongest Martial Artist!"" Ken ceried happily.
"As if you weren't rich enough..." Karin muttered to herself. Ken was about to reply, when suddenly a loud trumpet sounded.
"Welcome Ladies and gentlemen to this wounderful martial artist tournament! Here some of the very best fighters will fight for 2 grand prizes!!!" shouted a voice over the loudspeaker. Ryu tensed himself. Everyone could hear the crowd's loud cheers.
"Finally..." Sagat replied.
"I'm announcer Carl Spanque and I have just one question: Are you ready?" asked a voice over the speaker. The crowd's cheers grew. Then the door opened, and a skinny man with what looked like a bullet proof vest stepped in.
"Ryu, Sakura, your up." he said, leaving Ryu hopped up out of his chair, did some quick excersises, and walked out the door with Sakura. As they walked to the arena, Sakura was worried. What if she loses horribly? What if Ryu decides to stop teaching her if she performs poorly? Her heart began beating faster as she and Ryu stepped into the arena, on opposite sides. Bison's face was lit up with excitement. Carl walked over to Ryu.
"Are you ready?" he asked melodramatically.
"Whenever you are." Ryu replied calmly. Carl ran over to Sakura, who was beggining to grow impatient.
"Are you--"
"Yeah, yeah yeah, I'm ready." Sakura replied, pushing the announcer away. He shouted into the microphone:
"THEN LET THE BATTLES BEGIN!!!"
Ryu went into his defensive stance, awaiting an attack from Sakura. The crowd cheered madly. Sakura breathed hard, and calmed herself. Then ran towards Ryu. She reached him, preparing for a Shoryuken, but Ryu anticipated this, and performed a Hurricane kick, delivering 4 solid hits to Sakura. She went flying back. She slowly got to her feet and ran towards Ryu again.
"HADOKEN!" she shouted, firing a big blue energy sphere at Ryu.
"HADOKEN!" Ryu shouted, also shooting an energy ball. The 2 Hadokens collided, creating an explosion. When everything cleared, Ryu appered to be gone. Sakura slowly lowered her guard to look for Ryu. But to no avail.
"Shin--" Sakura turned around quickly, but it was too late. "SHORYUKEN!" Ryu's fists began slamming into her, before Ryu performed the regular Shoryuken, launching Sakura high in the air. She landed with a soft thud on the ground. But still, she got her feet.
"I am you pupil, Ryu." Sakura announced. "And I will make you proud, win or lose."
