Sagat stood in front of the giant statue behind him. He had won many great fights there. His eye(s) were closed, remembering his championship fight with Ryu. Over and over again, he remembered that blasted Shoryuken, Ryu flying up his chest, leaving that nasty, gruesome scar. He remembered laying almost lifeless on the ground, Ryu victorious. Sagat kept remembering that winning punch over and over again. He remembered his attack before the win. That's when he saw it. His mistake. His Tiger Shot had such terrible recovery time, he was wide open. Why didn't he see that before? Sagat put his hands to his waist, built up energy, and then put both fists in front of him, shooting a Tiger Shot. The small yet powerful blast hit a rock not to far away from Sagat, causing a small explosion.
"If the recovery time caused me to lose..." Sagat said to himself, "Then I must overcome it, and defeat Ryu!!!" Sagat clinched his fist. Then, he began shadow-boxing. But there were other things going on in the world.

In the U.S.A...

"Hiya! Shinkuu Tatsumakisempuukyaku!!!" shouted Sakura, hitting a giant boy at her school with several powerful kicks. The giant bully went flying. A small crowd had gathered, cheering Sakura's name. Sakura looked at her watch.
"Oh my gosh! Late for class again!" Sakura cried, running as fast as she could. She ran past a poster, advertising a Grand Martial Arts tournament.
Grand Martial Arts Tournament!!!!!
Held in Japan, this tournament is starring some of the most talented fighters worldwide! First prize winner will be proclaimed the Ultimate Fighter of the universe!
Sakura smiled. A chance to prove herself to Ryu. But little did she know that almost every street fighter saw the same poster. They also, were planning to be proclaimed Ultimate Fighter. Including Bison and Akuma.
