Sensei Yuryokuna Ch. 3 - Unexpected Appearances
By Cassie
Chun-Li was staring out of her window, thinking. What was it that Bison could
possibly want April for? She possesses no particular power or holds any threat
against Shadowloo - somebody must have made a mistake. Never the less, she
wanted to keep a close eye on her but tomorrow she was due to leave for Japan
for a couple of weeks to investigate a murder of an important Japanese
political body. This was a really bad time for something like this to crop up.
April was like a sister to her and didn't want to loose her to anything, particularly
the murderer of her father. ChunLi had a lot of confidence in April, she new
that April had access to Interpole facilities if she was in trouble, and April
had a great ability to get herself out of impossible situations.

The day was almost over. Sakura and April thought for a long time about
their situation but they didn't have a clue about what they were going to do -
or what they would be up against. Eventually, Sakura persuaded April to hand
the information over to Interpole but even though it was the right thing to do,
April knew she was going to be in the sh*t for it. The final bell rang and the
girls departed for home. As they got off of the bus, Sakura decided to question
April about her findings.
"Hey, answer me honestly…"
"Yeah…"
"Do you know Ryu and Ken personally?"
"Why?"
"Oh, just wondering" she answered innocently.
"Sakura, you don't just wonder something like that"
"I… uh…"
"You looked through my stuff didn't you?"
"It isn't how it sounds, really!"
"If it's really that personal you shouldn't bring it into school!"
"SAKURA!"
"I'm sorry, ok?"
"No, I'm not ok, I'm really stressed"
"I am sorry April"
"Oh it's ok I guess"
"So you really knew them then?"
"Yeah, they saved my life when I was a kid"
"Really?"
The girls walked to the end of the road and said goodbye at it's split.
Sakura was ridden with guilt, but she was so curious she had to ask. She had to
find out more tomorrow, if ChunLi didn't find out about April's arrival at
school.
April had forgotten about what happened the moment she walked through the
door, walking into the kitchen, she made herself some tea and went to watch t.v
and look ill. ChunLi was coming home early today because she was leaving April
for a week to go to Japan. April wanted to go with her, but ChunLi's superiors
decided that April would only get in the way. When ChunLi came home April came
straight out with most of the things she was supposed to but left out the
minute detail that she had been stalked and attacked. April left the
information on the table and they sat around talking about things for ages.
ChunLi told April about the meeting, while April just laughed because she
couldn't imagine a whole army after her. But now was the time that everybody
became more attentive to their surroundings.

Today was a compilation of the most boring subjects, but April didn't care.
She was really tired because she had got up so early to see ChunLi depart.
Guile had taken her home but she didn't really trust him after a visit to a
night-club.
One of April's friends persuaded April and Sakura to go to a night club
somewhere in Seattle, an over 18's one so April being a good natured person was
unsure if to go or not but once she got there she decided to make the most of
it. April's "friends" were really there for the men and they wanted
April to have a boyfriend too but April never had the time for them, she just
wanted to dance.
When it was April's turn to buy drinks she walked across to the bar, not
noticing the spying eyes of off-duty A.N personnel. As she walked passed them,
one of them purposely pulled their chair out to trip her up, as she slipped she
fell right down - into the arms of Guile. It had been a strange night, they got
talking for ages and something inside of him really attracted him to her but
she couldn't place a finger on what it was. She was trying to explain to him
how old she was despite how old she looked. He took her back to his place but
she could never remember if she actually slept with him or not and she came to
the conclusion that he had been drunk as well.
April had never told ChunLi this, there was no need as Sakura had invented a
story for her. Guile had a lot of respect for April, but now April was unsure
how he felt about her and vice versa. What he had done seemed rather irrational
to her considering what he was like most of the time now.
The whole day was dull and boring. All of the lessons April just sat looking
out of the window, staring into the blue sky, filled with wispy clouds. The
worst lesson was Maths, she was hot and bothered because of the heat and the
fact that she was unable to complete the work, she sat looking at her maths
paper but was really concentrating on things, especially her father, ChunLi's
father and their murderer.
April knew that the information was important but was it so important that
Bison would be directly involved? Thoughts whizzed around her head until her
attention was turned to reality - the lecturer's voice.
"April, will you please come down from cloud 9? There is a young man
here to see you"
April lifted her head to her visitor and was a bit surprised. He was
definitely foreigner, European, probably Spanish. He definitely looked familiar
but in a bad sort of way.
"April we haven't got all day my dear!"
"Uh sorry…" she continued staring at the man. He was dressed an
expensive suit, it didn't really suit him. Something about him really bothered
her…
"(Who are you, what do you want?)" She asked in an interrogating
manor. (Wait I know who you are…) faces and figures appeared in April's head
through flashbacks - she knew she was in bigger trouble than she expected…
"VEGA!!!" she screamed
Simultaneously she dived from he seat as he went to attack her in her place,
she scrambled to her feet and ran out of the doorway. She could hear his voice
behind her but she kept running down the corridor.
She knew she wouldn't have enough time to run down the stairs and as she
could hear him coming she dived spectacularly out of the window. Despite it's
height of numerous stories she controlled her jump and landed perfectly on the
ground. April caught a glimpse of something near her slowly so she raised her
head. As she looked up she saw a very imposing man dressed in some kind of
uniform. He wore a red cap and a grey cape - with the Shadowloo emblem on them.
Her surprised look changed to a frown, feelings boiled up inside her, she
didn't feel nervous any more.
"Murderer!" She shouted, raising to her feet.
"Finally, I get to meet you in person" he replied. Clenching her
fists, her anger was seeping out now.
"I won't let you get away with all of the terrible things you've
done!"
"Hmm, and what are you intending to do about it?
"You… are going to die - PAINFULLY". Bison laughed
"You don't think you could beat me do you?"
April took a shot at him but her small move was interrupted, Bison cut her
short with a kick and brought his foot towards the ground where she landed with
a thump.
She leaped up and went for sweep kicks which were artfully dodged. She
attempted to gain more distance between them by backflipping but by the time
she had landed he was laying into her with a combination of fury punches- most
of them were blocked successfully. After about 15 minuets of blocking and
evading, she began to tire. Bison looked at her and grinned "I'm getting
tired of this game Miss O'Conner". In split seconds he grabbed her and
drew her closer, things began to get hazy, he kissed her - something she hadn't
been expecting. Her head began to flood with different things, what was
happening to her? Not being approached in this way so easily before, she
panicked, felt dizzy and dropped out before him.
People around stared with astonishment as Lord Bison walked away laughing
with his victim. Vega had not been the attacker, just a decoy to drive her out
into the open where he could take her. April's life just got a h*ll of a lot
more complicated…
