Envy and Love Ch.3

When Chun Li took Ryu's hand, Ryu felt an awkward feeling, he's never felt this way before..(must be the ice..!)

However, sooner or later, Chun Li had to let go so she can teach him. But, strangely, he missed the feeling of her hand.

~ Thirty minutes later ~

"Ryu! You're getting the hang of it!" Chun Li stared at him in awe. "And you're really good too!"

Ryu blushed and Chun Li laughed at the sight he made. He looked at her with a little smile. "Thanks."

Chun Li felt lost in the moment. His eyes were just so..sweet, that it was almost tantalizing to her..knowing how much she wanted to stare at them forever.

"WATCH OUT!!!!!!!!" A boy screamed. He couldn't control his speed and bumped straight into Chun Li from behind.

Chun Li began to wobble and start losing balance. Ryu saw her, and he skated over as fast as he could to her and took a hold of her hand, so that she can gain balance. When she fully regained her posture, she looked up and their eyes met for a split second. Unable to move, they gazed in each other's eyes, falling in a trance.

Chun Li realized what was happenening, and pulled herself together.

Then Chun Li broke the eye contact. He tried to look away as well, afraid she was going to catch him again. "Thanks..for catching me." Chun Li nerviously brushed her hair behind her ears. But Ryu continued to watch..unconscienciously. "Your welcome."

The little boy got up. "Ah!! I'm sorry! Please forgive me!"

With a heartwarming smile, Chun Li kneeled down to his height. "It's okay. Just watch out next time ok?"

Then she whispered something in his ear. "Thanks."

He looked confused. "Huh..?" Chun Li just winked at him and left with Ryu, while the little boy continued to skate with his companions.

Then finally, their time was up, and they had to get out of the rink.

"Ryu! Ryu!" Someone called out from the food court, which was next to the rink.

Ryu turned around.

And a smile crept on his face, as a man with thick, long, blond hair stepped out of the line.

"Ken? What are you doing here?"

"I'm on vacation! I'm here with Eliza..and..hehe!! You're not believe this!" Ken said with a big smile on his face.

Chun Li stepped out from behind Ryu.

And when Ken saw her, his mouth dropped. "Chun Li?!"

"Yep! Long time no see, Ken!" gave him a hug.

"Woah! You're like..a major babe now! Not that you weren't before, but..damn! You look hot!"

Chun Li was flattered..(two guys complimenting me in one day..hmm..not bad!)

"Umm..hee..thank you."

Then, another blond came out of the line. This time, it was Ryu's turn to have his mouth wide open.

"Ken!! Where are you? You said that it was going to be quick!" She had her hand on her stomach and it looked like her back was killing her. "Anyway, they're out of hotdogs.."

"Is that Eliza?" Ryu asked, shocked.

"You bet it is!" Ken said happily as he walked up to her and gave her a kiss on the forehead.

"Omigosh Ken!! Congratulations!!!" Chun Li gave him and Eliza a hug. "You're both going to be parents!"

"Yup..and the doctor say that it's a boy." Ken said.

Ryu and Chun Li felt happy for the married couple and asked all sorts of questions about the baby.

"So, anyway, Ken, where are you staying?" Chun Li asked.

"I own a house here somewhere in Hong Kong, so I'll be staying there." Then Ken remembered about Ryu. "Where are you staying, Ryu?"

"I've already registered for a room at a hotel for two days, and then I'm going back home."

"Really?" Chun Li asked. "Two days..? So fast?"

Ryu nodded.

Ken and Eliza stayed for awhile longer chatting with Ryu and Chun Li, and then they left.

They skies were now dark, and the street lights were lit.

Chun Li stretched her arms as she continued walking with Ryu.

They finally made it to the park! Of course they weren't going to play basketball though..the grounds were pretty much covered in ice..maybe tomorrow..

But for now, they just sat on the swings, talking about nothing in particular.

"So when you were young, your favorite hobby was to take care of rabbits?" Chun Li asked. "That was my favorite pastime too! In the spring, new ones are always born, but my father told me not to touch them, otherwise the mother won't recognize who her baby is.."

Chun Li was always talkative..and Ryu never felt bored or lonely being by her side. But everytime Chun Li sees him, she feels pain. Why is it that? She once read somewhere.."I love you so much, it hurts." But that be it? Has her love grown that much?

When she finally stopped talking, she decided to be brave and finally look at him, without forcing on a smile and then turn away. Ryu noticed her watching him, and didn't seem to mind. He looked back at her, staring into her brown eyes.

She studied him, as if she were trying to memorize every detail of his face..analyzing his expressions which had captured her heart..but why did he have to be someone she fallen in love with?

Ryu was always logical..he was sometimes even considered unemotional..but deep beneath, he could of been the most nicest, sweetest, and honest man on earth..and each passing hour, his masks seemed to have peeled off, revealing them to Chun Li.

The night was very silent..and the moon was full.

When the two seemed to be lost in each others gaze, naturally..and instinctively, their heads moved closer to each other..and closer..

"Ahhhhh!!!!!!!!!!" yelped two youngsters that fell out from the bushes. When they looked up, they gulped knowing they just interrupted something important.

Chun Li and Ryu instantly pulled away from each other..not knowing what led them to do what they were going to do..

"Gosh! I told you not to move Yun!"

"What?! You were the one who pushed me! And your breath stank! I wasn't just gonna stay there and smell it!"

"Well, you didn't have to breathe!"

"Well you didn't have to whisper so much!"

"Well you.."

"GUYS!" Chun Li interrupted.

"*gulp*"

"Uh heh heh..hi..Chun Li.."

"What are you guys doing here?" Chun Li demanded to know. They were lucky she didn't raise her voice, but inside she was extremely furious! (They will get heavy punishment..oh I promise..they will!!! bwahahaha!!)

Yang patted the back of his head. "*gulp* S..s..sifu was *gulps again* worried about you..s..s..so.."

"Sifu?" Chun Li asked. "Since when did Sifu ask you guys to look for me and bring me back home?!"

"Today, Fei Long came back home..and sifu had to tell both of you guys something..so..."

"Fei Long came home?!" Chun Li panicked. The last time she saw him, was when she told him she didn't want to see him anymore. So why is he here?!
