'I wish I knew what was wrong with her',Ryu thought to himself.
He could tell she did'nt really want to talk about it.So instead of asking what was wrong,he just left her alone. He was never that good at aproaching situations like this.So he just kept quiet.
Chun-li's mind really was somewhere else.Somewhere better.Somewhere happier.
Her thoughts were focused on her memories of her father, before he left to track down the mysterious druglord.
'We were so happy then.'Chun-li thought.'I never felt empty, just happy and loved.'
As Chun-li's mind wandered, she didn't notice the stop sign at the intersection she was approaching.
"Chun-li watch out!!",Ryu yelled.
"What?!",Chun-li said,snapping back to reality.
She reacted just in time to avoid hitting another car,but barely.
She pulled over,a little shook up from what had just happened. She was breathing heavily. She couldn't believe she almost got herself and Ryu killed.
"Are you ok?",a sympathetic voice asked.
She looked over at him, then back down at the steering wheel.
"Yeah,I'm fine",she said flatly.
Noticing her tone of voice,Ryu decided not to inquire any further.
'I guess she's angry at me for some reason',he thought.'but I wish I knew why...if only she'd open up to me...'
'I should'nt have snapped like that, but I can't just tell him what's wrong!',she thought.'This problem is getting out of hand. It's bad enough that I endanger myself!I can't afford to put Ryu in danger!I have to take control of this somehow...'
She started the car,and continued back to the appartment.
