Dan & Sakura were now going out &
doing lots of stuff together. Sure, they already were doing lots of stuff
together, but they did lots of stuff that they usually wouldn't do, like
look for wedding dresses, buying lots of gifts for each other, & even
training together. The day before the wedding, they trained. They each
learned some moves from one another.
"Hey Dan?" Sakura asked.
"Yeah?" Dan replied.
"Do you wanna try a 2 handed fireball this time?"
"No! I don't like those! One handed fireballs look cooler!"
"I know, but the 2 handed version looks more dramatic & heroic!"
"Really? I know how my Gadoken can be more dramatic!"
"Cool! Show me!"
Sakura stood back as Dan got ready. He did a short warm up, where he threw
a few punches, but then clouds started to gather. Sakura was enthralled
by Dan's next move. He stomped on the ground similar to how Akuma does
& then he threw both arms back, but not in Hadoken style. He had both
of his arms in Gadoken position, & he was charging his energy. The
clouds were now as black as pitch, & Dan's outline was the only thing
that could be seen clearly. Dan had charged them for longer than Sakura
expected. Usually Dan does a speedy charge & then throws the infamously
short-ranged fireball, but Dan had charged it for a full minute now. His
eyes were glowing over all of the energy he was getting. Then, suddenly,
he shouted...
"SHINWA GADOKEN! (Mythical Gadoken!)"
He then slammed his arms together & a large beam of energy shot out
of his hands! He had perfect control over it, & used it to separate
the dark clouds that had materialized over the forest that they were training
in. He somehow drew the back towards his hands into a massive sphere of
energy, then threw it into a nearby mountain. The impact caused a great
light that nearly blinded Sakura, but when the light faded, a huge chunk
of the mountainside had become a crater, as if a meteor had struck the
spot. Sakura was ecstatic.
"Oh my god! Dan! That's the most powerful move I've ever seen! Can you
teach me how to do that...when I get as good as you?"
No response came. The explanation was laying on the ground: Dan had used
up so much energy that he had fainted.
"Dan! Oh no! Wake up Dan! Wake up!" Sakura cried.
"Uhhh...man, I feel tired!" Dan said sleepily.
"Oh, Dan! You're alive!"
"Of course I'm alive, but did I impress you?"
"Impress me? You made Ryu's Shinkuu Hadoken look like a pop gun, Dan!"
"I know I launched the big ball at the mountain, but I fainted while the
smoke was still blocking my vision! What did I do to the mountain?"
"Look!"
Dan looked up at the mountain & gasped. He never knew he had this much
power. He then hugged Sakura & said "Thank you for helping me find
my true power!" Sakura returned the hug & then something amazing happened.
A blinding light flashed in the sky & it was a while before either
Dan or Sakura could see, but Dan immediately recognized that there was
a figure inside the beam of light once he could see, & he knew who
it was...
"OYAJI?!" Dan cried, flabbergasted.
"Correct my son." said the figure.
"Who?" Sakura asked.
"Sakura, this is my father, Go Hibiki!" Dan boasted. Indeed it was. He
was in a blackish Gi & wore a tengu mask, & his head had a halo
hovering over it. Dan & Go hugged for the first time since Go had died.
They both had streams of teams coming out of their eyes, & once the
tearful part of the reunion stopped, Go told Dan why he had come.
"Dan, I have seen you fight for many years, & frankly I have been a
tad disappointed, but you have redeemed yourself by inventing your own
ultra-super-mecha-kickass move! I mean, you could kick anyone's ass!" Go
said heartily.
Dan whispered to Sakura that Go had a pretty vulgar tongue.
"...& you could probably blow away anyone you come in contact with!
You could lay Ryu & Ken flat out! You could destroy Sagat with one
swing of that thing!" Go kept on.
"Dad?" Dan asked.
"Yeah?"
"Can you cut down on the cussing?"
Go looked over at Sakura.
"OK." Go agreed, then he asked if he & Dan could talk privately.
"So, who's the hot girl? You seeing her?" Go asked.
"Better than that! I'm gonna marry her!" Dan replied. Go then sent a chill
through Dan's spine & surprised Sakura by letting out a shrill, girly
scream. Dan's cheeks grew red with embarrassment.
"I'll come to the wedding! When is it?" Go asked.
"Tomorrow, but how are you gonna come? You're a...ghost!" Dan asked sadly.
"Oh, don't worry. That only means that I won't eat all of the food at the
reception!"
"Yeah, I remember when you ate all of the food at the buffet sushi place!"
Dan & Go Hibiki got into a long father & son talk that Sakura made
sure to keep her nose out of. They finished quickly though, & went
back over to her.
"Well, Dan, you have fulfilled your destiny: to learn a secret kickass
technique & get married. You can continue to teach Saikyo-ryu to your
disciples, but keep the Shinwa Gadoken a complete secret from anyone but
yourselves! You can make the students have to learn all of the elements
of Saikyo in order to have a slim chance of learning the Shinwa Gadoken!
This means that your students will have to learn to taunt like you, fight
like you, & most importantly, dress like you!!!" Go told them.
"So, can I learn the Shinwa Gadoken, too?" Sakura asked.
"Of course! You're going to marry him, aren't you?" Go replied. Sakura
blushed. Then Go asked for a group hug before he left. As he rose back
into the heavens, Dan said "Thank you, oyaji!" At this remark, a present
appeared in front of him. He looked at the tag & it said "To my son,
love, Go." He opened it & found a small leather-bound book & a
small box wrapped in gold leaf. Sakura picked up the box & Dan grabbed
the book. Sakura opened the box & found a ring, but it looked to be
the best ring in the world. It had pink jewels, some diamonds, a few rubies,
& it was set into a platinum base, & the ring itself was diamond-cut.
Dan wondered if the book he had in his hands was as good as the ring. He
looked under its leather cover & blushed redder than the rubies on
the ring.
"What's wrong Dan? Lemme see it!" Sakura told him, "Hey! This book isn't
what I think it is, is it?"
Dan said nothing, but nodded his head. She looked under the leather cover
& blushed as red as Dan. Go certainly had a sense of humor, they both
thought, for he had given them a book on Kama Sutra.
The wedding was massively lavish. Karin had found the world's most beautiful wedding dress & purchased it. Dan had gotten a tuxedo from Ken, but he didn't like it. The main problem was that it wasn't pink. Soon, Dan had his ideal tux & Sakura was getting into the wedding dress. The wedding chamber was packed to bursting with fellow Street Fighters. Blanka was Dan's best man, although he gave new meaning to the phrase "monkey suit". Chun-Li & Cammy were Sakura's bridesmaids, & Go Hibiki offered to stand in place for the father of the bride. A grand orchestra played as Sakura walked slowly down the aisle towards Dan. In truth, she would have ran, but the dress was weighing her down. The minister married the couple & everyone applauded when Dan kissed Sakura. It was a long, fun life they would have together.
That night, Dan & Sakura did what every newlywed couple does on the wedding night. Today, many things have changed. Dan & Sakura are still happily married, & Sakura is 4 months pregnant. They live in a big 2 story home in Japan, so they could be near all of their friends. Blanka learned fluent English & now teaches Evolution at Harvard University. Ryu & Chun Li are doing fine, & Ryu finally found the ultimate fight that he's been searching for: he fought Dan but met the Shinwa Gadoken & was blown away. Ken is still rich, still married to Eliza, & still practices a lot. Guile is still not having any luck with Cammy, even though she keeps telling him how to have a successful date. Karin got the wedding dress that Sakura used back & now plans to wear it at her own wedding. Dan has lots of money coming in through his Saikyo-ryu dojos, & everyone is donning the pink gi, hoping to learn the Shinwa Gadoken, but Dan still hasn't found someone who can master his art yet. Dan & Sakura are still trying to find a name for their little boy, but that will be another story.
